Lovely villa in the relaxing urbanisation of San Juan de Capistrano

This beautiful two bed south facing villa in the private urbanisation of San Juan de Capistrano benefits from fantastic sea views. Sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin room). There is a sofa bed in the lounge. Additional bed linen can be provided on request.
The bathroom has been recently modernised (see photos) to include a large walk in rain shower.
Both bedrooms have sea views and open out onto a large terrace. The kitchen has also been modernised and has a washing machine, oven, hob and dishwasher. The terrace has a large comfortable seating area and a table for outdoor dining. There is also a small private garden. There is a beautiful, large, shared pool, a short walk from the villa with two pool bars/restaurants and also a children's pool area. The town is within walking distance and there is also a regular local bus service and reliable taxis. Nerja has 5 beaches to choose from including the lovely Burriana beach which is the largest and has bars and restaurants along the front. The town has a lovely Spanish feel with a large pedestrian area by the famous Balcon de Europa which is host to many festivals and local entertainment.

From booking right the way through the host was helpful and responsive. Very detailed instructions on location and amineties made the stay the stress free experience we were looking for. The villa was spacious and clean. The air conditioning was a bonus which made for a comfortable stay. The development is beautiful kept, this is reflected in the gardens and pool area.

The villa was spotless and just as described, a little tricky to find initially but after asking someone it was easy, the Garden was a little overgrown but the gardener soon sorted this out, pool area good but busy, always a place to park and that's never easy in Nerja, would recommend

Absolutely brilliant villa

The villa had a lovely quiet atmosphere with easy access to the local pool, shops and bars, as well as being very clean and tidy. The location was brilliant with bus routes/taxis down to the beach and town which are both beautiful. Paul was very communicative before our holiday providing an easy and relaxed experience. Would definitely book again :)

Had a great stay, swimming pool, local restaurants and supermarket all very good. A small map should be provided as the property is nowhere near 79 or 81, it is actually next to 65/66! The damaged step and missing tiles should be replaced and all the building materials removed from thecterrace.

Relaxing week

Property is right near the top of san juan capistrano, so has amazing views across the rooftops to the sea. The outside balcony seating area is wonderful for sitting, resting and napping as it is always in the shade. The property has all you need in a holiday let. It is a good 20 minute walk down hill to the Carrefour or mercadona supermarkets. The walk back up is not for the faint hearted! It's a 30 + minute walk to both Burriana or the Balcon. The pool area is lovely with small local shop for some provisions. The property needs a little TLC but nothing would spoil a stay.

Everything was very well with Paul's appartment. The drain of the wash bin was jammed. But owner took care immediately. The kitchen was equipped well so that cooking was not an issue. Even microwave available. The description of finding your way to the appartement needs a better explanation.

Late flight, but easy check in. Lovely appartment with everything you need to have a nice stay. A little out of the way, on the hills above Nerja, so a car is recommended if you want to get into town, or Burriana beach etc, but parking in town can be a challenge, however it does come with lovely views and the tranquility of not being in town, so it could also be a positive. Needs some tlc but does not detract from you having a great time. We had no WiFi for a day, but the property manager fixed the problem, getting a new router fitted straight away. The owner Paul was also very helpful.

Fantastic apartment that was everything it promised and more !

I booked this apartment for 1 week from 4th August. The entire transaction was smooth from start to finish. My brother and his family have been coming to Nerja for the last four years always staying at this complex. In that time they have met and made friends with a number of other families in that they now all holiday at the same complex at the same time so that both the kids and adults can meet up. All four families came over to see "my apartment" and everyone one of them said it was far superior to the ones they were renting. The apartment is very well laid out which gives the feeling of space and light. The AC was a bonus and much needed. I had one issue with the shower hose which I reported to the management company and it was fixed the same day. In summary, great apartment, cannot recommend it highly enough and lookng forward to booking it again.

Well equipped property with great views

Our dealings with Paul the owner were excellent from start to finish and his prompt handling of a difficulty with the house keys at the start of our stay was appreciated. House has a lovely terrace and garden. Also great to have so many tv channels when you may not go out every night as it’s winter time. We needed to use the effective radiator as it was cold in the evenings and the underfloor heating in the bathroom was a lovely surprise and welcomed. We arrived on a bank holiday and had trouble finding any shops open to get any provisions such as bread or milk so a small welcome pack such as we have received in other rentals, would have been appreciated but with our knowledge of the area, meant we found a small shop open. Only small negative regarding the property was the bedding which seemed a little tired and in fact one of the beds didn’t even have a cover on the quilt and the quilt looked like it had seen better days and not very inviting. However, none of the small negatives mentioned were significant enough to spoil yet another great stay in Nerja. Would I stay at the property again - Absolutely 👍

Well located, well equipped villa with fantastic view

We just spent ten very happy days here, mainly just the two of us, but for a few days we had the company of an old friend. The villa was plenty big enough for the three adults (it might struggle with four adults though). The villa itself is well located in a tranquil part of the St Juan de Capistrano urbanization. It's about a 30 minute walk down into the centre of Nerja. You'll find everything you need for a self-catering holiday. We cooked at home every night but one. It's worth bringing your own basics such a olive oil, sugar, tea, etc, but that's pretty standard for holiday rentals. The shop by the swimming pool has all that sort of stuff in stock. The pool is about a 5-minute walk and is lovely, one of the largest in the area I gather. We were there early inthe season so it was never crowded and the staff at the Pool Bar are lovely. We made lemonade from the lemons in the tree which hangs into the little garden area, which was fun. The really fantastic thing about this villa is the view from the terrace, which is spectacular, looking down across Nerja to the sea. Each night we'd watch the sun set, which was a real treat. The one thing I will say is that because we had issues with the internet on our phones, we didn't have access to any maps, so it was really difficult to find the villa the first time. But once you do find it, it's easy to remember how to get there. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. It is a really lovely place to stay while enjoying Nerja.

Great 12 night stay

We have stayed in various Villas within San Juan de Capistrano so know how they differ based on layout / location etc This Villa was in a quiet location, about a 7 minute walk away from the pool, supermarket and restaurants. It had a modern bathroom and kitchen. Well equipped with everything you need. There were quite a few steps to get to it from the main road but we expect this when staying in the area and the only steep part was the steps upto the actual villa, i only mention this incase you have heavy cases. To get to it from taxi drop off is very easy! The view was slightly obscured due to it being located lower down having rooftops infront of it.but you could still see Nerja and the sea in the distance. The terrace also had the benefit of keeping cool in the morning and ue to its location The Villa was lovely but it did need some deep cleaning in areas ( Shower base lots of pink mould, Terrace tiles very stained and dirty, floors were not clean, particularly in kitchen under table area - only found this out when had to pick something up that had rolled under. Also the bedding was poor, the sheet was not fitted so came off during the night. Also on arrival you first see broken tiles on the steps upto terrace and remnants of the bathroom renovation where dumped outside the bedroom window. We did need to contact the property manager due to an issue with a lock but it was dealt with quickly and efficiently. We would stay again if the issue's were addressed.

VĂ€rlden Ă€r vi helt nöjda med. Svarade omgĂ„ende vid problem som till exempel nĂ€r spisen inte fungerade. Vi fick snabb hjĂ€lp med att laga den. Mycket stor och trevlig altan omgiven av vĂ€xter och havsutsikt. Vi uppskattade ocksĂ„ att det fanns tvĂ€ttmaskin och diskmaskin. Kuddar och madrassen i dubbelsĂ€ngen var smutsiga. Kuddarna var osmakligt smutsiga. Även ugnen och plĂ„tarna var smutsiga, inte rengjorda. Vi uppskattade utbudet av tv kanaler. BekvĂ€mt och trevligt badrum med en mycket skön dusch.

Die Wohnung hat eine tolle Lage mit Meerblick. Gerne lag ich abends auf der gemĂŒtlich Lounge und habe den sternenklaren Himmel mit einem leckeren GetrĂ€nk genossen. Wir waren Ende September GĂ€ste. Zu dieser Zeit vermittelte mir das Haus ein exklusives Wohnerlebnis, da kaum andere Nutzer in der Anlage waren. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig. VerkehrslĂ€rm oder andere Nachbarn waren kaum zu bemerken. Das Haus hat alle technischen GerĂ€te, die man benötigt. Alles funktioniert und alles fließt ab. Hervorheben möchte ich die drei Klimaanlagen, das Bad mit der großen Dusche, Herd, Ofen, den großen KĂŒhlschrank mit Eisfach und die SpĂŒlmaschine.Die Lage der Wohnung in Nerja war fĂŒr uns perfekt, da es ein guter Startpunkt fĂŒr Mallaga, Granada und die Cuevas von Nerja bot. FĂŒr uns waren also Autofahrten bis zu einer Stunde akzeptabel. Highlight fĂŒr uns war der Strand Burriana. Sehr gepflegt mit vielen SĂŒĂŸwasserduschen und sauberen öffentlichen Toiletten. Der Sand ist etwas grob, was ich mag, da dann bei aufkommenden Wind der Sand nicht auf der Sonnencreme klebt. Dort sind viele GeschĂ€fte, die jeden Bedarf decken können. FĂ€hrt man parallel zum Strand die Straße (Cam de Burriana) gerade aus hoch, wird man immer einen Parkplatz bekommen. Der zur Anlage gehörende Pool ist sehr gepflegt und fĂŒr kleines Geld gibt es noch Liegen und Imbiss.Wir möchten gerne noch einmal wiederkommen.

Las indicaciones son muy exactas y el cheking sĂșper fĂĄcil.Aunque parece que estĂĄ un poco apartado, tienes de todo a poca distancia y aparcas en la puerta del apartamento.Es tal y como sale en las fotos muy cĂłmodo pero lo que mĂĄs me ha gustado es desayunar en la terraza con esas maravillosas vistas al mar, sin duda un lugar para repetir.

Wunderbare kleine Wohnung mit traumhaftem Ausblick

Im Vorfeld zu unserer Buchung hatte ich ein paar Fragen, die der Besitzer Paul unglaublich schnell beantwortete und jegliche Zweifel aus dem Weg rĂ€umte. Er organisierte fĂŒr uns ein Kinderbett und einen Kinderhochstuhl fĂŒr unseren 2-jĂ€hrigen Sohn. Nach Buchung erhielten wir einige nĂŒtzliche Infos rund um die Wohnung, die Umgebung und die Anfahrt. Der Check-In war sehr einfach mit einer SchlĂŒsselbox am Eingang und einem Zahlencode gelöst. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einer sehr gepflegten typisch spanischen Anlage mit vielen kleinen weißen HĂ€usern, die verschachtelt an den Berg gebaut sind. In der Wohnung ist alles an Ausstattung vorhanden, was man fĂŒr einen tollen Urlaub braucht. Es gibt auch eine Poolkarte fĂŒr den nahe gelegenen öffentlichen Pool, mit dem man kostenlosen Eintritt erhĂ€lt. In 5 Minuten ist man mit dem Auto am wirklich schönen Playa Burriana. Wir haben insbesondere die Terrasse mit gemĂŒtlicher Sitzgruppe und fantastischem Ausblick auf das Meer genossen. Mein Mann, mein Sohn und ich hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Pauls Wohnung. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!
