My brother-in law and nephew loved the place, but the downstairs had very cold drafts coming in from the windows.

Sorry but the quote window drafts are nothing. It was negative degrees outside when they complained and wanted to put ghetto plastic on the window. Also the wholes in the walls says it all on how your people traeted my place.
My wife and I brought our 2 young children to visit Grandma for thanksgiving and this property perfectly fit our needs. There was everything we needed to prepare our meals and the kids loved the trundle bed! Host was extremely prompt when we asked a question. Would stay again.
I stayed here with my wife, 6 kids, and my brother-in-law while visiting Cedarville University for my 10 year reunion and it was great! The house was clean and spacious, I was very happy with the price for all the room and amenities. The neighborhood is quiet and historic with all the houses from the 1800s, very pretty. I would recommend this for anyone staying in the area, great price for a great stay!
We truly enjoyed our stay! Everything we needed was available. The home is clean, the beds are comfortable, plenty of space for all five of us! The patio with the grills and heaters was excellent.
All the amenities are in fantastic condition.
We will definitely look to book this space for our trip back next year!
We had a great time. The location is wonderful and the owners are amazing. The property was very clean and comfortable however the outside of the property look a bit older but inside looks nothing like the outside. This property is a gem.
The dupilex was clean & very comfortable for our family. We had everything we needed provided. The AC was cool when we arrived, plenty of fans for the upstairs bedrooms, there was plenty of hot water & water pressure for showers. The neighborhood was quiet & safe, with lots of food options nearby. Check in & out was easy peasy with minimal check out expectations. About 10 min drive from air museum. The stairs are steep as advertised, but also had good sturdy handrails.
Easy central location. Bathrooms were a bit inconvenient with 12 people but there were plenty of beds and seating, every kitchen gadget imaginable, and a great cooling system. All needs were met. I will say the steep set of all stairs cannot be stressed enough as well as the treads not being full sized. If you are traveling with people that are known to be messy, maybe bring your own towels and bedding. We would stay again!
There were eight of us including two toddlers, and we had plenty of space to spread out! Everything was exactly as it was described. It was in a kind-of crowded neighborhood, but we took a walk around the block to see the historic homes and felt perfectly safe. I’d happily stay here again!
We get together every year with friends and go to a UD basketball game. Instead of staying at a hotel it was nice to stay in a home with space. Everything was clean, organized, and the beds were comfortable. It was a quiet neighborhood which was appreciated. We had friends staying at another home on the same street so we were able to get together and did not have to drive. It was nice to be able to walk to restaurants as well. Thank you!
The stay was nice for the most part. There are labels on everything and the info binder was nice. I didn't use the back deck but my family did and they enjoyed it. The neiborhood was very quiet and seemed okay. The house is very comfortable and accommodating. There is shopping nearby .The pots and pans were bent and scratched so they were hard to use. My nieces said the twin beds were uncomfortable, everyone else found the beds a bit soft but alright. There were some wasps in the house. When we went to leave we noticed a man on a bike peeking into people's cars. Overall the stay was nice and comfortable.
We rented the house for Parents Weekend at UD. The house was as advertised and comfortable. We were able to walk from the college downtown area to the house fairly easily and it was close to the dorms as well. The communication with the Property Manager was great and check-in was easy. The only caveat I would say is if you are they with friend families, the bathroom situation could be a little challenging. If all one family, I wouldn't see it as challenging/awkward.
We were ok with everything until we tried to use the outside heaters and fire pit. We couldn’t get anything to light! However everything else was fine for us
The outside of the house is beat up a little but the inside is very nice. Back deck was great with 2 grills, lots of room to sleep, quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again.
Overall, we had a super time at this property. It worked out great for our group of five that attended the UD graduation weekend festivities. The home is old -however it was super clean and had a ton of amenities that contributed to our pleasurable experience. As a previous reviewer had noted, the steps to enter the home are quite steep and narrow width. However with caution and railing support, my 80 year old parents managed them just fine. The only complaint was that the clock in the primary bedroom kept going off at 7:00 am and none of us could figure out how to change that setting. Very minor inconvenience though. If our travels take us to Dayton again, we will definitely stay. It is a great value for the price.
It was very clean ,and very roomy .Even though my son grabbed the blankets by mistake the property manager was very professional about it. I would rent it evertime I come to Dayton. Thank you Mr. WILLIAMS
