Family house with swimming pool surrounded by nature in Crest

Located in the heart of nature, and only two kilometers from the city, our house is a haven of peace. It is an old silkworm farm (where silkworms, the wealth of the region, were transformed into silk thread in the early 19th century). It is surrounded by a walled plot of about one hectare, planted with century-old trees and meadows. A rock fountain, now in flower, and old yew trees enhance the view from the house.
The house was redone ten years ago with a lot of old materials. The kitchen, bathrooms, and living rooms were refurbished in 2019. The garden is equipped with a beautiful secure 4X10 m swimming pool with a large terrace in ash wood, offering a breathtaking view towards Crest and its tower.
With its beautiful antique furniture and comfortable sofas, the large 60 m² living room and dining room are wide open to the garden. The kitchen, newly furnished, overlooks a small wood which is crossed to reach the swimming pool. In the kitchen you will find all the groceries and ingredients that will make you feel at home from the first day. The two floors serve six large bedrooms (5 with a double bed and 1 with 4 single beds, 2 of which are on the mezzanine), two shower rooms, a bathroom and three WCs.
In winter you will enjoy the large fireplace, the PS4 and our many board games at your disposal. In summer, enjoy the hammock and meals under the antlers, the gas plancha and the 3 bikes at your disposal. Several hikes and mountain bikes start directly from the house. A little further, the extraordinary geological sites of Saoû and Vercors are 20 minutes by car.

The house is located a quarter of an hour on foot and 5 minutes by bike from the medieval center of Crest, where you will find many food shops, lively local markets, a cinema, an equestrian center, and a canoe rental on the Drôme. Throughout the spring and summer, numerous concerts are organized, including the prestigious Jazz Vocal Festival. Numerous sports activities (canoeing, mountain biking, ULM, horse riding, tennis, tree climbing, golf, etc.) within 20 km.

The Crest SNCF train station connects Paris directly in 3h10. Even without a car, you can be perfectly autonomous and surrounded by nature!

Bed linen and two towels per guest (one for the bath and one for the pool) are provided.
