Landlord communication and responsiveness was excellent. Check-in process was extremely easy, and the hosts directions and guidebook were helpful in planning our stay. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed to be able prepare and serve meals in the unit. Looking forward to our next stay with these hosts!!

Beautiful spot for Family Getaway

We only had our family of 4 stay here but it could certainly accommodate a larger group. The views were spectacular and the home and amenities were clean and cozy. We really enjoyed our time here and would stay again in a heartbeat!

The driving to the house was on beautiful hilly roads and the house was absolutely gorgeous with a big deck looking at the amazing forest! The area was very quiet and private and just beautiful! We love everything there and definitely we will visit again this coming winter time!

Wonderful home for a family vacation

This home is fully equipped with everything you need for a family getaway. The kids loved the game table and we all enjoyed gathering around the fireplace and out on patio. What a view! We would gladly return.

Great valley and ridge views and dark skies

Beautiful place with a great layout and wonderful views! Great location close to slopes and back in the woods. Well decorated, great kitchen and maintained, with enough room for a couple of families to share.

Awesome location, great views

This was a very cool and unique house, in a great neighborhood near Schuss Mountain. We had a two family ski weekend here, and the house met our needs well with living space on all three floors. Beautiful views and balconies. It was a 5 minute hike to the ski hill, which was great. Some of the furniture/beds are a bit worn out. The heating system took a while to figure out, but the fireplace was really nice to have and made it manageable. Overall very good experience and accurate listing.

House and amenities were amazing! No complaints. The view is amazing and the house had everything we needed! Lots of family games and things to do around the house! Very spacious. Would recommend!!

Great Place

The house was a nice house in a beautiful woodsy setting with a great view. Did not have time to enjoy the amenities offered. Would definitely consider again if we were to come back to the area. Thank you!.

Family Getaway

We loved this place. So cute and full of charm. So quiet and picturesque. I loved how clean the place was. This is very important to me and i was very impressed. It was a great location between everything and our family group. Not to mention the amenities in the community that we were able to use. A beautiful place we all love. We will definitely come back. The josts were wonderful.

Thanksgiving with family

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was cozy and provided a nice place for our family to gather over the holiday. We enjoyed sitting around the fire and playing board games. Having access to the indoor pool was an extra bonus. The only snafu, was the trash hadn’t been picked up before we arrived, so the bins were full… not the fault of the property owners however.

Family Reunion

The view was stunning. This property is an updated chalet perched on the edge of a mountain. In the woods, but not far from three pools, the public beaches of Lake Bellaire, and the cute little town of Bellaire. It was clean, well-stocked with towels, blankets, sheets and wood for the fire pit. It was great for our family reunion.

Doesn't get any better!

This house was great, such an awesome location with amazing views. House was large and cozy with lots of room to hang either upstairs or downstairs. Owners were perfect to deal with and had excellent communication. Joe even texted the first day to make sure everything was going well with the house. I would not hesitate at all to rent this place again.

Heaven on earth

Phenomenal. The house was cozy and comfortable. The view from the deck, evenings with a fire, wine and sun going down were magical. We shared it with our 3 adult children, a spouse, two significant others and two golden retrievers. The Shanty Creek area is wonderful. We played 9 rounds of golf on the magnificent courses. We will be back!
