Great stay so nice and close to Big Powderhorn skiing. We enjoyed having a place to relax and spend time together after skiing and hiking. Very clean, cute and well appointed to make for a cozy stay. Thank you for having us!
This property was in a great location for us as we traveled from Copper Harbor and on to WI. We felt so comfortable here & the location was very convenient for getting to the Porcupine Mountain State Park which was our goal. We appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided by our hosts & the festive outdoor lights were very helpful in finding the property as we arrived after dark. We enjoyed the creative craftsmanship & fun decor too.
Great people.
Clean, warm, reasonably priced, damage deposit returned the very next day. Within minutes of Powderhorn Ski area. Information about local restaurants and attractions was made available.
Very clean and as warm as we wished.
The only reason for an average rating on listing accuracy was because I didn’t know there was no kitchen. Honestly I just assumed that it was a stand alone unit. Assumptions should be verified. But the lack of kitchen was made up for by a snack area with a Keurig, plenty of any pods anyone could be expected to want, a basket of snack items, granola bars, chips, etc., and a mini fridge with complimentary water. Wi-fi was available as well as a tv in each room with Netflix, video etc.
Thanks very much to Lisa and Scott for having this great place to stay!
Nice, clean, cozy place. Floor is a little squeaky so i felt bad walking around the room with the owners below. The kitchenette and snacks were anl nice bonus. There was a display of Yooperlites in one of the bedrooms which was really neat. We went out and hunted some our own after seeing those. I liked the the theme of the bathroom.
My son had back to back snowboard practices at Big Powderhorn Mountain so we decided to book a place fairly last minute. Snowy River fit the bill perfectly. The rooms were a bit small, but we were on the slopes all day anyway. Everything was clean and comfortable. We would book this place again if the occasion came up.
This property was a perfect base camp for Powderhorn. A short walk or an instantaneous drive gets you to the base camp.
Our hosts were awesome, at one point we blew a fuse and they dropped what they were doing and came over to reset it in less that 15 min. We had an amazing time.
Stayed here for a snowmobile trip. Owner quickly responded to questions. Great communication. Rooms were clean comfortable and as described in in listing
