Superb family house in a quiet, privileged environment !!

We are located in the small village of Lamothe-Cassel, hamlet of Puycalvel.
We offer the rental of a large comfortable cottage of 170m² for 12 people. It is fully equipped and is composed of 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower, 2 shower rooms and 4 toilets.
The cottage welcomes all its guests around a round table, under a lighted covered wooden pergola and a large rectangular table with extensions inside.
Heated and secure swimming pool, outdoor shower, deckchairs, large parasol, poolhouse cloakroom with sauna. The cottage is perfectly quiet, with no direct neighbors (3 ha of meadows and private woods).
For your evenings, the terraces are lit for your comfort.

This is a beautiful house in a wonderful location! The host are wonderful and nothing too much trouble …. This was our 2nd time visiting here and we will certainly be returning ! Such a beautiful setting, and a very warm welcome from Michèle et Jean, with an easy check-in. The house lovely and is well equipped and well set up for people who like to cook. Lovely pool and toys and games for children. The secluded setting is very peaceful indeed. We (two families of four) had an absolutely wonderful time.

A fantastic holiday

The property was wonderful. Lovely and clean, nice and spacious and you could want for nothing more with regards to the inventory. Jean and Michele were warm and welcoming and made the stay a pleasure. We will definitely be booking with them again.

A patch of French Heaven

Michelle et Jean were perfect hosts! The House and grounds were simply amazing in such a tranquil setting. The property had everything to cater for the different interests of our family, with the ability to relax in the country side as well as enjoy the pool, Sauna and table tennis. I would have no hesitation in recommending this patch of French Heaven.

Beautiful & peaceful

Our stay was wonderful. The setting is story-book perfect. The house - charming and functional. The hosts - attentive and helpful. Besides all the fun amenities of the property- pool, ping pong, pétanque, there is a marked hiking path through the countryside around the property. Charming towns all around. Lovely!

Lovely, spacious, clean and very well-equipped house. A great base for exploring the area but also to just relax by the pool and around the house. Gift of local Malbec wine and biscuits on arrival were a nice touch from the hosts Michele and Jean. Hosts were on hand to welcome us to the house and if had any questions. Supermarket/ local small town short drive away. Would not hesitate to recommend!

Superb stay in the French countryside

Just returned from a truly excellent one week stay with Jean & Michele. The property was clean and tidy with lots of private land around the impressive building. It had all the facilities that we needed for our stay, the swimming pool and the various dinning options were a particular hit. The house is remotely located and made for a great sense of peace and quiet as well as some great star gazing. The was plenty of space in the house for all six of us, although we spent most of our time outside enjoying the pool, swings, table tennis and more. The local village/shops is about a 10 min drive with the larger town of Cahors being about 25 mins (worth a visit) The hosts could not have been more helpful and greeted us warmly on arrival and bid us a fond farewell on departure. The gift basket was also a nice touch. It is easy to recommend this property and its hosts and we hope to return again soon. Mark & family

Well equipped, lovely stay

The house was extremely well equipped and spotless. It is the perfect place for a family gathering. It is very quaint and what you would expect from a rural French house. It is in a small hamlet and is around a 15minute drive from the nearest village with a supermarket. I don’t think we have ever come across a better equipped house on our travels. It is a little tired in places, and the downstairs bedroom (with the bunk beds) was a quite damp smelling on arrival. The pool area could do with a bit of tlc as the decking had bowed and needed repainting/restaining. However this is reflected in the relative price we paid compared to other properties of the same price. The communication from the host was very good. They arranged a local vet on our behalf for the tapeworm tablet for our dog to return to the UK which was appreciated as we had struggled arranging one. We stopped for two weeks and were offered fresh towels and coffee however no cleaning or bed changing as others in the reviews have commented on. We used the onsite washer and dryer and vacuum for this instead. There was no welcome pack either which wasn’t an issue for us as we brought our own essentials. Overall it was a lovely holiday and a great house which we would recommend.

Nous sommes venus en famille retrouver des proches que nous n’avions pas vus depuis des années, à Cahors.Nous avons passé un moment merveilleux tous ensemble. Cette maison est un véritable havre de paix et de bonheur.Les propriétaires ont parfaitement compris l’expérience attendue par les voyageurs : serviettes et gants de toilette à disposition pour tous, café en grains offert… Tout est pensé pour se sentir bien.Petit bémol sur la pièce du bas, un peu trop humide en cette saison.Nous recommandons sans hésitation !

Des vacances de rêve !

Nous avons passé des vacances magiques dans cette maison qui nous a comblés par ces prestations haut de gamme. Les équipements sont complets et hyper fonctionnels. Les chambres et les pièces d’eau sont très agréables à vivre. La piscine, avec son magnifique point de vue, est au top! Vous rajoutez à cela des propriétaires accueillants, réactifs et d’une extrême gentillesse. Un généreux figuier près de la sur la terrasse. Pour les plus sportifs, au plus près de la maison, une boucle avec panneaux de 30km pour vélo et une autre balisée de 8km pour randonnée ou running. Merci à Michèle et Jean pour ces vacances réussies en famille dans cette maison de rêve.

Wir (Oma, Opa, unsere Kinder und Enkel, sowie unser Hund) verbrachten zwei wundervolle Urlaubswochen in diesem Ferienidyll. Ein Vermieter mit Herz, der für unsere Fragen und Problemchen jederzeit und umgehend eine Lösung fand. Nous avons passé 2 semaines dans cette demeure au calme à 5 adultes et 2 enfants. La demeure est grande, propre, pratique, hyper bien équipée en intérieur (vaisselle, pièce pour les bouteilles, 2 frigos, des jeux, un ecran plat extra grand) comme en extérieur (boulodrome, ping pong, bouées pour la piscine, balançoire, panier basket et barbecue). Pour nous accompagner, Michèle et Jean étaient à nos petits soins. Un couple d'une grande gentillesse et efficacité. Pour finir, la maison occupe une place centrale avec des grands sites à ne pas manquer à moins de 45 minutes comme Cahors (grande ville la plus proche), Rocamadour, Saint Cirq Lapopie, le gouffre de Padirac et bien d'autres. Maison calme dans la nature
