Ferme Noemie is situated in Les Sables, 4.5kms from Bourg d'Oisans ( a flat warm up ride to the base of the Alpe d'Huez hill climb, the Galibier, the Croix de Fer, Col d'Ornon).The well known ski area of Les Deux Alpes, Alpe d'Huez, Vaujany are all less than 1/2 an hour away. Regular bus services from Ch Pierre Polycarpe to Vaujany run throughout the winter and summer season.
End Barn has two twin bedrooms and a further two beds in an open sleeping area ( called a "coin montagne" at the top of the stairs. A large duplex property, End Barn has a bathroom with bath and wc on the lower level, a comfortable lounge and well equipped kitchen. A south facing balcony leads from the living area.
Ferme Noemie is a small holiday venue in a beautiful location catering for all budgets. There is a tiny campsite located on the grounds of Ferme Noemie, as well as two mobile homes.

Clean and great location!

Ideal place to stay for a cycling vacation! On checking in we got a summary of the cycling routes in the area. The unit was clean and well stocked. Fresh bread in the morning was a nice touch. Proximity to Bourg d’ Oisans very good. Would highly recommend.

Beatifull appartement, friendly owner and great location for cycling trips

Beautifull and nicely equipped appartement, friendly owner and great location for cycling trips. Fresh bread can be ordered at reception everyday, and is delivered by Melanie, the owner, at your doorstep!!! There is a locked bike room to store your bike when you are not using it, but try to use it as much as possible because the area is beautiful. Overall highly recommended

Great place for cycling or hiking summer holiday!

Ferme Noemie is situated in a wonderful location for access to great cycling and hiking. Comfortable accommodation with beautiful views of the mountains. Located close enough to Bourg d'Oisans for an easy drive or cycle into town for dinner or shopping. Threes of us stayed here for a week of cycling. Found it to be an ideal location for our trip.

Great location and apartment

3 of us visited the End Barn on Ferme Noemie this weekend (early June) and had a great stay. The apartment is one of 3 in a single building and is situated at the entrance to the owners camp site. The apartment was a really good size and was very clean. You're expected to leave it as you find it and we found that this worked well and I think is fairly factored into the price, which we all thought was very reasonable for 4 nights. We were there for a long weekend of cycling and the secure bike storage was a fantastic benefit. We were also allowed to use the camp sites shower block on the last day, after we'd checked out, which was brilliant as it meant we could go for a final ride before our flight home. Location wise, if you're looking to visit the mountains, you couldn't be better positioned, especially if you're bringing (or renting) bikes. From the apartment, within 3km in either direction you are at the foot of Alp D'huez (right) or the Col de la Croix de Fr/Glandon to your left. Crossing the Glandon takes you to Telegraphe, Galibier, Lacets du Montvernier and more. Melanie, the owner, was a great host and had some brilliant local knowledge, including an excellent ride from Oisans up to Villard Notre Dame and Villard Reymond (we evidently went the hard route, with dark tunnels, but well worth it for the views!). I definitely look forward to returning and would recommend this venue to anyone. Thanks.

Perfect location for a cycling holiday in the Alps.

We (4 men) stayed in Ferme Noemie for a 3 day cycling holiday. The End Barn was spotless and well equipped with a home from home appeal. The Barn is on a well run, quiet and relaxing campsite The center of Le Bourg d'Oisans is a 5 minute drive or a nice 10/15 minute cycle, if that's your mode of transport. We ate out here on all 3 nights and didn't have any bad food experiences and the prices were reasonable. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.
