Located in a quiet, lush hamlet, the “Les Hortensias” holiday rental is a peaceful place where you can relax. <br>Completely renovated in 2020, it features a large, bright living area with a kitchen, dining room, and living room with a large corner sofa, as well as 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower. <br>In the summer, you can enjoy the 1,000 m³ yard with a trampoline, patio furniture, lounge chairs, a gas grill, and a pétanque court. <br>Just a few minutes from Cherbourg (Cité de la Mer) and the beaches of Normandy. You can visit Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue—named the “Most Beautiful Village in France” in 2019—and Tatihou Island, as well as take a short stroll around the port of Barfleur.

Nice quiet location, great garden

Nice house with a great big garden all around the house. There are terraces, a jeu de boule lane and a trampoline. The area is very quiet and it's easy to go by car to different villages. We loved the museum 'Cité de la Mer' and the beach 'Plage de l'Anse du Brick' is a nice sandy beach. The house is fine and attractively decorated. There is some deferred maintenance in the house. All together, a nice place to stay.

Die bisherigen guten bzw. sehr guten Bewertungen können wir nicht nachvollziehen. Die Sauberkeit lässt sehr zu Wünschen übrig. Dies betraf vor allem den Backofen, das Flusengitter vom Trockner, die Schublade der Waschmaschine sowie Fliegendreck und Spinnenweben im ganzen Haus. An mehreren Stellen schimmelt es und Tapeten lösen sich teilweise. Das Haus und einiges an Mobiliar sind renovierungsbedürftig. Besonders schlecht ist der Zustand der Küche und manches Inventar davon. Wir haben uns zuerst eine neue Pfanne gekauft.Positiv zu erwähnen ist, dass das Haus liebevoll eingerichtet ist. Wir haben uns über das Willkommensgeschenk gefreut. Auch hatten wir das Glück, dass das Wetter sehr gut war und wir den ganzen Tag unterwegs sein konnten.

Nous avons vu les locataires 2 jours après leur arrivée pour leur demander si tout se passe bien, et rien ne nous a était remonter. 2 jours après le départ, le locataires voulait un remboursement ou autrement il aller mettre de mauvais commentaire. Nous n'avons pas voulu faire de remboursement, il a donc mis un mauvais commentaires. Nous ne recommandons absolument pas cette personne.

Séjour en cotentin !

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette belle région. La maison est parfaite, et Martine est très agréable ! Nous avons eu un beau soleil, barbecue, déjeuner sur la terrasse et promenade. Nous reviendrons !

Séjour parfait dans ce gîte

Un séjour très agréable dans ce gîte et à proximité de nombreux endroits touristiques de la région. Le gîte est très bien aménagé avec une décoration moderne et tout le confort du quotidien. L'extérieur est aussi agréable que l'intérieur avec un terrain de pétanque et beaucoup de jeux (jouets) pour le plaisir des enfants. A recommander sans hésiter pour un séjour en Normandie.

Week end reposant

Une belle propriété dans la Manche proche de Barfleur et du Cap Levy où nous sommes allés faire une ballade en famille. Nous recommandons, aussi bien pour la situation de la propriété au calme, l'ensemble des équipements, le terrain de pétanque et la propreté de la maison. Merci à Martine !

Un magnifique gîte très confortable, parfaitement équipé et proche de Cherbourg et de la côte

Nous avons adoré nous reposer et nous détendre dans ce gîte après une journée de vélo dans la région de Cherbourg. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le grand séjour, la terrasse, le boulodrome, le calme de la campagne et notre sympathique hôte.

Séjour au vert très reposant !

Maison rénovée tout récemment, super bien équipée, on ne manque de rien, et surtout pas de place, aucun bruit à part ceux des oiseaux, on y dort comme des bébés ! Martine est une hôte très agréable, merci à elle pour son accueil et sa gentillesse.
