Sterling Sands Unit #407 is a nicely updated fourth floor unit with amazing gulf and pool views from a private balcony. You will love this unit from sunrise to sunset daily from your private balcony accessible from the living room! The living room also offers a nice sofa sleeper and a matching loveseat, well-coordinated coastal furnishings, and a large TV with DVD player. The dining area offers seating for four. There are three bar stools at the breakfast bar for plenty of seating. The kitchen has upscale granite counters, full-size appliances, and all the housewares needed to make meals at home.

The primary bedroom offers a calm retreat with a nice king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The second bedroom offers a nice twin over full bunk bed with cozy bedding. There is a second bathroom next to the guest bedroom with a a shower/tub combo. Enjoy the convenience of a private washer and dryer during your stay tucked away into a closet in the hall.

Things to Know
This unit has a max occupancy, including children. These are rules set by the State of Florida and the State of Florida Fire Codes. The Fire Codes go by square footage and not the beds in a unit. If you arrive with more than the max occupancy listed, the HOA will not allow you to check-in and you will not be entitled to a refund.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Overall A Good Stay

We have stay at this property before (not same unit though). Love the location (near The Track, Merlin’s Pizza, & The Back Porch). Some things could be improved with this unit but overall a good stay.

Great stay!

The location was perfect. We enjoyed the balcony/patio as well as the pool. This location is perfectly situated adjacent to the beach. Great for a family of 4.

Great place to stay.

Wonderful location, but unit needs updates

Sterling Sands is a great location. This was our third time staying here. This unit needs updated. There master bathroom has an old jacuzzi tub that you must step up and into to take a shower. The cabinetry is peeling. There was no usable cookware. The furniture is black with an uncomfortable fabric.

This condo had everything. Lots of pots and pans and casserole dishes. Awesome sheets and blank...

The view is outstanding. Also lots of viewing options on the tv, when it was needed. Overall stay was perfect. Also it came with a garage parking space right by the elevator. Would stay here again!

Great Little Place

For two adults and two young kids, this place was perfect. Very close easy access to the beach, and the pool was nice also. Amenities in the house were nice enough, everything worked well and suited our needs. This place may be a little cramped with 4 adults and all their belongings, but for us it was just right.

Beautiful View

First trip to Destin Florida

This was our very first trip to Destin, this condo met our expectations! We absolutely loved the view from the condo, the pool was amazingly warm. The covered parking was so nice our vehicle was never hot. Having two bedrooms and two bathrooms was so nice. We can’t wait to go back!

We made the best of it!

The view was beautiful and the condo was ok other than the broken hide a bed that was stuck open the whole time we were there but we didn’t let that stop us from enjoying our stay!

The laminate floors are gapping. Whoever installed them just slapped them down. The twin bed is falling apart and quite honestly made us nervous to let our children sleep in it. The window (that is a hurricane standard) in that same room was broken. The carpet was very dirty despite them being cleaned our feet were so dirty after stepping on it. Gave us the total ick. The bathrooms were peeling paint and stained toilet lids. Broken trash can in one. Water stains under all sinks. All outlets were finicky or didn’t work. The threshold transition piece was broken and pinched all of our feet until it was fixed with a new piece that was taped down. One of the chairs at the dining table the seat was not screwed on/ all the screws were missing and fell off and one of our kids was sitting by in it and fell through. The screen for the balcony, one was complete missing and the other was bent. We couldn’t sit with the doors open without the screen because bugs were coming in. The balcony was dirty and furniture out dated. The one bathroom a swim suit was left from the previous visitor and there was mold in the back of the door, that just goes to show the effort that was not put in to clean. The kitchen drawers were all jacked up. We attempted to use the oven and it took over and hour to heat up and barely get semi warm chicken nuggets. The beds were horrible and our bodies hurt. Tossed and turned all night not getting the rest you should on a vaca. More to say but ran out of characters.

Girls trip/ 39th Bday

Had a fun and relaxing time with my girls. We were centrally located to everything on the strip. Condo was on the beach with easy access to all the amenities. Water was beautiful. We had everything we needed in our condo & had an amazing time. We will be back !

The location is great and we had a great view. I was a little disappointed because I called before I booked and asked if the rooms included beach chairs and umbrellas and was told yes, but our room didn’t include them so I had to pay extra.

The condo is beautiful. We had a beachfront view that was amazing. It was clean no issues, checkin process was simple. The kitchen & bathrooms are a nice size and had everything we needed & were very clean. Its located on a strip thats convenient to walmart & other restaurants. The outlet was 15 mins away.. perfect condo & location and will definitely be booking again.

Perfect for our needs

Two parents and one 8 year old. Could it use some updates? Yes. The dishwasher and clothing washer/dryer are VERY LOUD. If you’re looking for the latest greatest keep looking. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable quieter than some of those huge complexes place right on the beach with a garage parking spot? This is your number 1! Checks off a lot of boxes for a small family quick getaway

It was ok

The view was worth the trip! I love that you can walk off the property and onto the beach. The pool is an excellent size with adequate seating. The fitness center was tiny, so get in EARLY or late in the day! The beds were uncomfortable; my daughter slept on the couch, which was nice. You have all the bare necessities! Caution when using the washer: Leave the unit when you turn it on! It was so loud we couldn't talk and hear each other. Check-in and out is super easy and an excellent property for ALL the little kids and families

When asked to be moved to another room due to the condition of our room we were told if we booked direct they would have moved us to a better room. I wasn’t impressed with the amount of money we paid for tge room and the condition of the room!

Didn't realize the property was so private.Didnt know we would have to rent chairs and umbrellas when we got there and then have to pay extra for brackets once there.Snakes were around the pool area.Water seaping in the kitchen floor.I guess it was too private for our life style.
