About this property

Picabo Peaks, the Pinnacle of Luxurious Mountain Getaway

This award-winning contemporary vacation home offers a once in a lifetime experience. Pictures truly do not do this home justice, vaulted ceilings throughout, exposed beams, and oversized windows overlooking the neighboring Purcell mountain range. All tucked away into the mountain, with nearly complete privacy, you wont even know your in a ski village!

With spectacular vistas from expansive glass windows throughout the home, you will never tire of the view of the ski resort and the surrounding Purcell mountains. This contemporary home is the winner of multiple design awards, including 'Best Bedroom in BC' in 2009. Constructed to harmonize with the contour of the hillside, this home does not have a living space ontop on any other floors. You read that right, there are 8 different elevations of rooms, 6 different decks, and UNLIMITED views of the surrounding landscape. This home was built to WOW, as you walk through the home, you'll experience climbing the home as it rests in the mountain, each room conserving its own private view to discover. These levels or pods connect each room, designed to capture and maximize the surrounding landscape. Each room boasts its own ensuite bathroom for privacy and convenience. The kitchen brings the entire home together, with ample counterspace, a fully stocked kitchen featuring soapstone countertops, induction cooktop, dishwasher, convection oven, and stackable washer and dryer is available for your use.

You'll find frameless floor to ceiling glass throughout the home, bringing the exterior landscape seemingly into the home. The dining table easily seats 10, and there is a large living area adjacent for large gatherings.

Tired of looking at the incredible scenery? Not likely, but the ski hill is a 3-5 min walk, or just ski out the back into the parking lot below and up to the Sunbird Chair. After a hearty day of skiing, grab a cold one at the Cliffhanger, cause your not driving anywhere when your sleeping next door.

For Bookings, please message host for pre approval, and tell us a little about your group! We accept mostly all groups, but due to the level of high end finishes throughout, we do like to know a little about you prior to booking.

spring break
My spouse and I had stayed at this property a while back and loved it. It feels like our home, away from home. The architecture is stunning and contextually, thoroughly considered. The spaces are both welcoming and homey, at the same time having ample space for concurring activities/groups. The spaces are functional and livable, if no mobility issues exist. It is an active living 'compound', situated as part of its surroundings. You experience this property as you should experience living on a mountain. It is exceptional. The are a multitude of surrounding Amenities and activities for any season. We look forward to another stay.

Phenomenal home and location in the mountains
Highly recommend this property to families and people of all ages. It is situated right on the mountains, surrounded by beautiful trails and many activities (both summer and winter) within close range. The home itself is architecturally impressive, very well stocked with everything you could need including games and books for rainy days, and an en suite bathroom in all 3 bedrooms. David was very responsive with an issue we had with heating and quickly problem solved and had a maintenance manager out to help which was incredibly considerate and comforting. Just a note that there are 2 flights of stairs just to get to the main level and then more to get to other bedrooms - important for those that have mobility concerns and also to pack lightly if possible.

Awesome Views and Location
This house has to be one of the most remarkable homes in Panorama. The views in all directions are spectacular, super close to the golf course, ski lift and the trails are at your door. With the deer continually meandering by, relaxing in a secluded setting, awesome views and visually stimulating architectural finishes, this destination is one not be passed up when planning a mountain vacation.
