Freshly painted, brand new hardwood floor throughout the entire first level. Brand new extremely large pit couch with 3 electric reclining seat, and adjustable headrests. The loft was painted and fully carpeted. Brand new window treatment throughout the house.
The house just reopened after renovations June 2024!
Whether it's Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall there is always fun and exciting thing to do for the whole family.

Some visit to relive the past and their journey to Woodstock. Others come to experience what it was like for the first time. As you step inside the exhibit you hear the echo of 450,000 chanting “no rain” and see the stories of those who were actually there. Through artifacts, films, music - and even a hippie bus - you will be inspired not only by what was the most prolific three-day festival in history, but by the ideals that still remain relevant today

Holiday Mountain Ski & Fun Park (20 minutes away)This ski resort was recently sold, and the new owner is building mountains, bought 2 snow making machines, put in a new Gondola, and much much more. There is also tubing.

Ski Big Bear at Masthope Mountain: Only 40 minutes away, in the Poconos.

Belleayre Mountain Ski Center located in Highmount NY, about 50 miles from the house.
Mountain with over 50 skiing & snowboarding trails & 8 lifts, plus cross-country skiing.

Plattekill Mountain
Plattekill Mountain is a privately owned and operated ski and bike resort northwest of Catskill Park in the town of Roxbury, New York. It features a vertical drop of 1,100 feet with 38 trails of varying degrees of difficulty.

FISHING: WATER AND ICE
Anglers have success catching trout trolling spoons and plugs. White Lake also has a good bass population. Largemouth bass can be found around weed beds fished with spinnerbaits and plastic worms. Smallmouth bass bass like to hang out around rock piles and will bite crank baits and tube jigs.

We live on the lake and have neighbor that are fairly close. We ask that you obey the noise ordinance in Bethel NY which is no loud noise, music, or conversations past 10PM.
No parties are allowed.
PETS: Non shedding, small dogs under 20lbs allowed. There will be an addition cleaning fee for dogs that shed if approved.
Dog friendly: $100 fee per pet, after the first dog. Please keep your dog leashed and pick up after your dog.

For your security there is an outdoor blink camera and a ring doorbell. It can be disconnected if you choose not to want this.

Cozy lakeside weekend

Family weekend getaway!

Great place to stay! Prime location with direct access to the lake. The weather didn't allow us to go explore much of the town but thankfully Vicki's place was well equipped with games to entertain us all weekend. Kitchen was fully stocked and very clean. Glad we chose to stay here. Thanks again Vicki

Family Time

Everything was just as described and Vickie was so accommodating. The set-up was perfect for the six of us and the yard games were a huge hit. It was so peaceful to sit by the campfire at night. Wonderful restaurants within walking distance as well.

Vicki was very accommodating. She gave a walk through of the entire property. Our entire family utilized all the lake toys and lake from the time we woke up until we went to bed. The was a memorable vacation for the entire family. Lots of fun!!!

Comfortable house in a great location

The house is charming and decorated in a rustic style. It was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked. The yard is large and private and has waterfront access to White Lake. There is a large dock and there is a pedalboat, canoe, paddleboard, and kayaks. The house is a 10 minute drive from Bethel Woods for those interested in attending a concert. We had a wonderful fall getaway and would definitely return.

We had such a great time.the weather didn't co-operate, but we still had a great time. house was spotless, host couldn't do enough for us, and overall.....i would do it again....

Fantastic little slice if heaven on the lake! Vicki (owner) was great communicating with us before our arrival. The house has tons of character inside and is well stocked with everything you need. Outside was awesome. Great deck overlooking the lake, patio right on the water with fire pit, deck out over the water. Kids were able to swim near the dock. Also, the place is outfitted with anything you might want of need.....Kayaks, Stand up paddle boards, paddle boat, life vests of every size, bikes, etc. Outdoor ping pong table, plenty of chairs, patio umbrella. This place is great! Rent it! Just not on the weeks we want to go back!!!!!!

Wonderful Stay on the Lake

House was exactly as described and staying on the lake was wonderful. Our kids really enjoyed fishing off of the dock, the blow up float and the provided canoe, paddle boat and kayak. The stairs leading up to the upstairs kids area is a very steep, so that’s something to keep in mind if your kids are younger. We kept our little guy in the downstairs bedroom, but the space upstairs is great and our older daughter loved it. Vickie was a pleasure at check in, showing us all of the features, and very quick to respond to any inquiries we had. There was an incident before check out with some damage that I wasn’t aware of until afterwords - my brother in law made a careless mistake - Vickie was quick to address with me and understanding, we will be resolving it. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I hope to return again.

Rustic chic and cozy

The cottage was just as listed on VRBO. It is conveniently located in a pleasant area. The style was knotty pine with modern touches and up-to-date amenities such as wifi, dishwasher, laundry facilities. The cottage and grounds were clean, safe, and and everthing was in good working order.

Quick New Years Eve Getaway

We had a very nice stay and Vicki is a pleasant host. The property is clean, decorated nicely and fit our family of 4 adults and 3 kids. I would recommend this property to any family looking for a nice quiet, clean, beautiful wood decor/accents, and spacious outdoor back yard area.

A cozy comfy last minute getaway

We had a lovely stay. Everything was as described. We loved watching movies by the fire, playing games and just getting away for a few days. We will have to return to take advantage of the outdoor parts of the property, but waking up to the view of the lake was beautiful, even in December! We found great hiking nearby, and Vicki was so quick to respond to any inquiry we had. Thanks so much for letting us stay!

Fall Foliage Trip to White Lake

We had a great time over Columbus Day weekend. Three families each with eight year old boys enjoyed fishing, paddle boating and canoeing with a beautiful backdrop of White Lake and the fall foliage. The home was cozy, clean and we especially enjoyed using the fireplace. Vicki our hostess was great and very responsive to all our questions.

Great Lake House stay

We primarily booked this Lake House for the dock - we wanted to do some Lake fishing without renting a boat, and we needed the dock to be sturdy and accessible easily from the house without a steep incline or difficult walkway. SO, we did have a great time fishing, all catch and release for us, - lots of "action" from catfish, perch, bluegills, bass, and a muskie. The house is a cottage of sorts, and it is beautifully decorated in an outdoorsy style, and has great beds and seating that make it very comfortable. It has a big front porch, half of which is covered, with a big table and a gas grill, and there is a nice yard leading to the Lake. The house is very clean and has what looks like brand new appliances and it is very well stocked with whatever you might need to prepare meals. The owner provides board games in the house and there are also things to do outside, like ping pong and some things to use on the water like a canoe, I think. The second floor, which you get to by going up some rather steep stairs, has three beds and a seating area, whereas the lower level has two small bedrooms, one with two twin beds and the other with a queen bed. The full bath is on the main floor with plenty of towels and bath accessories. The owner is very welcoming and very accessible - she showed us all the features of the house and had suggestions about things to do in the area, which is basically the town of Bethel,and the surrounding countryside, the site of the Woodstock festival in 1969. We look forward to returning !

Fantastic Property Would Stay Again

The property was so relaxing and fantastic. The property host was wonderful and also so understanding about my issues with getting to the property on the first day due to change of plans on my part. The property is fully stocked, very clean and the beds are so comfy. It was a short birthday break for me and my daughter and just what we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer. With family now in the area, I will stay again. Thank you.

Incredible lakefront home

We loved our stay at the house. It was perfect to be lakefront and able to use paddleboat, paddleboard and canoe. Beautiful property! The house was clean and comfortable and has everything you need for a great stay. Owner was very responsive and recommended some nice local spots. Definitely recommend!

I grew up in Queens, New York, and have been coming to the Catskills in the summer since I was born.
I bought my own home in Bethel NY in 2008, but it was just a vacation home. I live on Filippini Pond that does not allow motor boats.
I moved up here in April 2020, and it's now my primary residence. I enjoy walking, yoga, pickle ball and spending time with my family. I like being a host and being able to share my home and property with others.

Features the chart-topping, genre-defining artists from yesterday and today. The Pavilion at Bethel Woods is one of the best outdoor concert venues in The Catskills. They have events and concerts happening practically all year long.
