The cottage is well equipped and consists of an apartment on two floors with exclusive parts of the park. The ground floor consists of a living room , Big kitchen whit dining room and, one single bedroom and bath. The second floor consists of two Double bedroom and one Bathroom . The furniture is in excellent condition, and the environment is very welcoming. It has internet access, satellite TV and Air Conditioning . These place is a charming and relaxing house, suitable for families ad groups of friends as well as for individuals or couples seeking a holiday in Italy, in a beautiful house near Verona , Venice Padua end Milan, in a historically environment .

Wonderful property

This place was really exceptional. The character of the house is special, there is lots of space and the surrounding garden makes it quiet except for the birds! Ludovico was friendly and always available. Check in was easy. The beds are comfortable and the rooms spacious. We can highly reccommend this property to anyone who wants to spend some time near Verona or Lake Garda.

The first impression is a total " wow".🙂 This property is very lovely and is on a gorgeous palladio estate. It is very comfortable and well appointed. Kitchen is well outfitted with everything one needs to cook. Bedrooms are comfortable with very nice linens. Ludovico is charming and available to help his guests have a wonderful relaxing holiday. Living room is comfy and cozy. The house is larger than it appears. We had a beautiful holiday there

Eine tolle Unterkunft mit ganz besonderem Charme. Die Beschreibung entspricht den tatsächlichen Gegebenheiten. Wunderschöner Park, der täglich gepflegt wird. Die Lage im Ort ist gut (Alimentari und Bar nebenan, Bäcker und Pizzeria ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar). Die Gegend und Landschaft ist wunderschön, in unter 30 min ist man am Gardasee oder in der Innenstadt von Verona. Ludovico als Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir werden wiederkommen!

Echtes Italien im Herzen der Weingegend am Anfang der Po-Ebene

Sehr schönes Haus mit Charmes. Sehr gute Lage zum erkunden der Gegend um den Gardasee und Verona. Kleine schöne Restaurants ohne Pizza fußläufig erreichbar inkl. Osteria mit Bar und einem kleinem Tante Emma - Laden am Platz.

Leuk oud huis in een afgesloten park met een keuken met voldoende servies en glazen alles was er. Alleen het sanitair, kan nog wel iets verbeteren de badkamer beneden, daar kan je niet douchen alleen zittend in bad, is zo laag en boven in de badkamer hing er een douchegordijn helemaal onder de schimmel. Lodovico en Joyce, waren erg aardig en behulpzaam. Hele leuke week gehad, er is heel veel te doen in de omgeving. Je kan lopend naar leuke restaurantjes en tegen over het huis kan je verse broodjes halen.

Italien mal anders

Ein solches Anwesen kann man sonst nur von außen betrachten. Der erste Eindruck, sobald sich das große Tor öffnet und man hindurch fährt, ist schon was besonderes. Der Besitzer, Herr Lodovico ... war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist mit antiken Objekten dekoriert und urgemütlich mit reichlich Platz. Es ist alles vorhanden was man im Urlaub so braucht und was will man mehr? Alle, die mal ein besonderes Urlaubsdomizil suchen, werden sich hier wohl fühlen, wir werden bestimmt mal wieder kommen.

Heerlijke, grote, luxe woning met (piepklein) privézwembadje

Heerlijke woning met in elke ruimte airconditioning. De keuken had alle faciliteiten (magnetron, oven, koffiezetapparaat, veel servies, bestek, extra vuilniszakken, etc., inclusief scherpe messen). Er was een privézwembad (ter grote van een jacuzzi) wat wel heel lekker was, maar je kon er niet in zwemmen. Jammer was dat we geen gebruik mochten maken van het grotere zwembad dat wel op het terrein was, maar niet bij het huis hoorde. Het huis was enorm groot en gezellig ingericht. Niet modern maar eerder wat artistiek en knus. Op één bed na, waren alle bedden wel een beetje hard. Zeer vriendelijke en gastvrije gastheer (Italiaans) en gastvrouw (Nederlands). Uitstapjes naar Verona en Gardameer zeker aan te raden. Al met al een prima verblijf gehad!

Schönes Ferienhaus im Veneto

Das Ferienhaus liegt in einem schönen alten Park. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich. Der zum Ferienhaus gehörende Pool ist so klein, dass er die Bezeichnung "Pool" nicht verdient. Hier wäre es angebracht, dass die Mieter des Hauses auch den großen Poll (10m) vom großen Gästehaus im gleichen Park mit benutzen dürfen.

Italien pur und ohne Schnickschnack

Die Gate Lodge ist Bestandteil eines rund 5 Hektar großen Grundstückes zu dem neben der Lodge noch eine herrschaftlich mediterrane Villa gehört. Das Haus versprüht einen einfachen mediterranen Charme, der Idylle und Ruhe ausstrahlt. Das Dorf selber liegt erhöht mitten im Valpolicella. Nach Verona sind es 12, zum Gardasee 15 Km. Venedig erreicht man in 1,5 Stunden. Sucht man Luxusurlaub, nightlife und non stop animation, dann ist man hier falsch. Möchte man "Italien pur", idyllische Landschaften in mediterraner Umgebung zum Abschalten und Runterkommen, Wein trinken und genießen, dann hier zugreifen. Vollstens ausgestattet, sauber und klimatisiert sind sowohl Lodge als auch Villa sehr zu empfehlen.

Beautiful rustic Italian charm

I can't speak highly enough of our stay here. As soon as the electric gates opened I realised I'd chosen well. Once in the properly we were impressed by the size, the decor and great feel the place had. We are hoping to come back again this summer.

We loved our time here. We did not have a car but had Italian friends who showed us around the area. Otherwise I would advise renting a car. The apartment is lovely, very comfortable beds and it was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Recommend it for sure....

Charming, quirky accomodation

From the moment the electric gates swing open and you sweep onto the gravel drive you feel you have arrived somewhere special. The Serenella Gate House is beautifuly quirky, decorated and furnished to a good standard. It definitely feels like a home rather than a holiday rental.To describe the style is a little difficult, maybe shabby chic meets Italian hunting lodge (some may not like the stuffed animals). We found the kitchen well equipped and the beds very comfortable.The downstairs bedroom does feel a little seperate from the upstais bedrooms so may not be suitable for a small child on their own. Both bathrooms had a bath with a shower over them rather than a seperate shower enclosure but this did not cause us any problem. Lots of fresh, white towels provided and everywhere very clean.. On the upstairs landing there is an area with a washing machine and room to put up an clothes airer which was useful ( no tumble dryer). The gardens were beautiful and maintained each day by a friendly gentleman. At the end of the drive is a big house which sleeps 14 but this is compeletly seperate and we still felt very private.The hot tub ( not a pool) is situated a couple of minutes away from the house overlooking the vineyard. A lovely spot where one evening we were joined by 7 hedgehogs! The positition between Verona and Lake Garda was excellent and San Pietro itself has a beautiful church a good Pizzeria, Das Butei and an excellent restaurant situated just behind the church. All of which are within walking distance. A small grocery store is also immediatelyl outside the gates. We were welcomed on our second day by Joice a Dutch lady who was on hand to answer any questions. All in all an excellent holiday. Thankyou Lodivico.
