About this property
Stunning lake front house with view of mountains.
Very modern, warm comfortable house with 2 huge verandas, one at the front and one at the back of the upstairs living area. A wide staircase leading straight down to the lake - watch children playing on their bikes or on the lakefront from the veranda. There is a bike path at front of house which joins The Lion's Walk pathway into town.
Sun all day in upstairs living area, fireplace for the winter and under-floor heating in downstairs bedrooms which heats rest of house.
7-minute drive to Taupo township. 1 hour to Whakapapa ski field.
Special conditions:
No animals please
Extras: We have an additional fee of $120 for the cleaner and $100 for bed linen hire per stay.

Hi, My name is Bridget and I manage the renting out of our family holiday home in Taupo.
Why they chose this property
We love this holiday home and our family are constantly having to take turns over the school holiday's to fit in a relaxing family break. We love the summer's in Taupo with the boating, waterskiing, fishing, biking and generally having a wonderful time exploring at the lake's edge. The winters are great fun too with the hot pools, fly fishing, the mountain only an hour away by car for skiing and exploring all the things Taupo has on offer that we don't want to leave the lake to explore in summer!
What makes this property unique
Warm, relaxing house. Great for entertaining with the two big decks. Great location - peaceful relaxing spot away from the hustle and bustle of Taupo town but only 10 minutes drive into town and 2 minutes to the airport. 10 minutes to the nearest fly fishing river. 7 minute drive to the nearest mineral hot pools.
