Perfect location right near all the Piha amenities. Very clean, comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommended!

The location worked well for us as it was close to a birthday function we were attending.The bed was very comfortable & warm. Just what we needed in mid-winter.The entire set-up is definitely better suited for summer, but the layout was accurately described by Marie, and our priority was proximity to the function.

Excellent escape from the city!

Marie really made this stay incredible! She gave us a lot of information on the local eateries, things to do, and directions around the area. She was also very communicative and responded very quickly.We booked as a last minute change to our itinerary, whereas we had originally planned to stay in Auckland. So glad we went to Piha instead. We left really wishing we could have spent some more time here. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality Marie!

The property was described as small, which it was but it could be better designed to be more functional….. once the small bed was opened there was not much room to move or put your luggage. Some things for the kitchen were inside & others were in the outside area. A great location & Marie is lovely.

Cosy stay in the heart of Piha

This is a great space to base yourself when staying at Piha. Marie is a great host, she was very mindful of my privacy and comfort, and available to answer any questions I might have! Plus a very short walk to the beach and restaurants. A perfect weekend :)

Unorganised.

After the muck around with the disappearing key within the first few minutes of arrival, I was put off & found accommodation somewhere else for the night. Rather annoyed, as I’d come from Australia to attend my sisters wedding.

Piha dreams

Lovely private studio with great location right next to the shop serving great food and coffee. Marie is accommodating and will go the extra mile to make your stay more enjoyable. We highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a casual relaxing escape to wild west Piha beach.

Nice little timeout stay with The most neccessary things.

Nice, clean and cosy. Very close to shop and cafe. Would have been nice with some coffee mugs, so we didn’t have to buy coffee at The shop😉
