With the pristine Barrington River flowing through the property, you'll enjoy direct access to the riverbank, perfect for picnics, scenic walks, and refreshing swims. Situated in dark sky country, the night sky comes alive with the stunning wonder and beauty of the Milky Way - your ultimate escape awaits.
The property boasts a thoughtfully designed layout with open spaces and expansive windows that perfectly frame the stunning scenery. It seamlessly integrates modern clean lines with rustic charm, using natural materials to harmonise with its surroundings. A spacious patio offers an ideal spot to unwind and take in the panoramic views. Inside, the high ceilings, abundant natural light, and cozy accents create a warm yet airy and inviting atmosphere.
Barrington River Farm is a working farm, home to a rare herd of Red Devon cattle. The house reflects the property's biodynamic principles, designed and built with sustainability as a priority. Completely off-grid, it features robust backup systems for reliability. Positioned at the property's highest point and north-facing, the house is strategically designed for optimal solar efficiency, blending eco-conscious living with its natural surroundings.
The home features three bedrooms with ceiling fans throughout:
Master Bedroom: Queen bed, walk-in robe, and ensuite
Bedroom 2: Queen bed
Bedroom 3: 2 x king single beds.
Additionally, the lounge room includes a queen-sized sofa bed, providing comfortable accommodation for all guests. Use of the sofa bed is at an additional cost. Large galley style kitchen with walk in pantry, gas cooking, dishwasher, and breakfast bar
Open plan dining and living area with high ceilings, open fireplace, study nook, built in bar and French doors leading to the patio with stunning views.
Second dedicated tv room living area with heating from fireplace
Beautifully designed and landscaped courtyard with water feature and outdoor entertaining
Power provided by solar panels and lithium battery storage and backup Kohler generator/Hot water supplied via solar system with furnace backup / stained polished concrete floors throughout / pillars acting as heat sinks into the concrete floor
Water is provided by a 63,000L water tank which catches rainwater from the roof of the house and garage
All linen, towels and bed making included for all guests.
