The location is perfect and the resort is really nice. But the unit is not really set up for summer guests because there’s no a/c in the loft. So, the first floor is freezing and the loft is hot. It had to have been about 90 degrees before management gave us a fan, which we placed ion the stair landing to blow the cool air up. It was still hot but doable. Also, the blinds on the top windows are impossible to open and close, unless you’re 6’2” or above. And even then, my husband struggled to reach them to open and close them. And he had to wear gloves so the chain didn’t kill his hands. The owner really needs to get remote control blinds and install an upstairs a/c unit.

Great location with all the amenities!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This Condo is conveniently located between Durango and the Purgatory Ski Resort. Tamarron has numerous amenities that are well maintained. The Condo was very clean, well furnished and the kitchen was fully stocked, very comfortable! We enjoyed the steam train to Silverton, amazing views, walking along the Animas River, visiting the breweries, the Strater Hotel and the shopping. We look forward to returning soon to take advantage of the rafting and fly fishing!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful weekend in Durango Area. The unit was updated, clean, and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. The property included unexpected luxuries. There is an onsite (and amazing) vegan restaurant, along with a fully appointed health and fitness center. The sauna and hot tub were perfect after a long day on the slopes! Combining a comfortable room, upscale property, and great location (between Durango and Purgatory Ski Resort) made this weekend getaway a real winner.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was so amazing. It is what we want and expect when we go on vacation to get away. The property was in the most gorgeous setting and felt remote but close to Durango if needed. Staff was amazing and amenities top notch. It was extremely quiet. The fitness facility was amazing. We loved having the bar and grill on premise and wish the newest restaurant would have been ready. It will be a great addition. Very safe and we would definitely recommend to try this place, you will not be disappointed.

Nice unit

Overall it was a nice unit but be aware that with the bedroom in the loft the A/C struggles to keep it cool on hot summer days. Also it could use some TLC, when we arrived the towel bar in the bathroom was on the floor like it had fallen off. We had trouble with our key cards not working and they ended up having to send multiple folks to fix it.

Big disappointment

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As a former property owner, I had mixed feelings about my recent week-long visit with my family. The location, of course, is outstanding and almost everything at the resort has been updated. However, dealing with the offsite reservation department was a nightmare, as they seemed to know very little about the resort. I requested an ADA-compliant room at the Lodge, but apparently they don't exist. There were no grab bars in the bathroom, and the tub floor was slippery, with a lousy flow of water from the shower head. NOT a safe accommodation for seniors!

Do not stay in this unit during the summer time.

This is a multi level unit, with the bedroom being in the upstairs loft. Due to heating and COOLING issues, they have installed two wall AC units side by side on the first floor. Both ran on max 24 hours a day, and still could not cool the bedroom/loft area. The noise level was so high we had a difficult time communicating, and for this reason we never even turned the tv on. When i asked the managing group to relocate us, they stated it would not be fair to the owners, so they provided a fan and instructed me to open some windows.

Unpleasant experience for high end rates.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enter our room the towel rack is on the floor and the toilet paper holder was broke. The hot tub was full of bugs. Employees don't wait in line, while guests do to many ameneties. The restaurant was out of so many items. They add drinks to your bill that you never receive. Wait 30 mins to be told they were out of something or couldn't make many of different cocktails on the menu. Bar tender just disappeared we never got our second round of drinks. Then they automatically add 20% gratuity. So poor service adding drinks never brought to the table deserves to add gratuity? it should be based on service received, under this business practice they don't have to give you a great experience. We weren't the only ones either, observed many table with the same complaint. They use stock photos of the views, we had a view of the parking lot.

Great little place in an upscale community. Amenities make the difference with fully equipped workout gym, pools, hot tub and more. Conveniently located between downtown Durango and Purgatory ski resort.
