A very comfortable stay

We stayed for a week while in Winnipeg, and appreciated the location, space, and welcoming touches. Host responded quickly to any questions. Great to have access to laundry facilities. We would definitely return. This would not be a good option for individuals with mobility issues (stairs, gravel walkway)

Very small with no kitchen. Couldn’t use the microwave at the same times as anything else. In one of the rooms there was a motion detector that looked like a camera but there was a disclaimer that it wasn’t. I’m not sure why they need a motion detector in the room. We stood out in the freezing cold trying to get the door to work because you had to pull it towards you to open. One day it stopped working because they thought we were checked out (hopefully they didn’t go into our space when we had it booked for another day). The parking was horrible and host stated that we could park behind her with enough room so she could get out so I did that and it still wasn’t enough room so I settled for the street.

All house rules and instructions were provided prior to check-in, including guidance on using appliances such as the microwave. These instructions were intended to help ensure proper use during the stay. We communicated several times throughout the stay; however, this concern was not raised at any point, which limited our ability to address it in real time. The property is equipped with a security system, including motion detectors, for guest safety. This was disclosed and explained in the house information. The listing also clearly states that the unit includes a kitchenette, which is shown in the photos available before booking. Regarding entry, the door requires the code to be held for not more than three seconds. During winter months, colder temperatures can occasionally affect responsiveness. Parking instructions for the driveway were also provided in advance. Clear communication during a stay is essential to resolving issues promptly, and we would have been happy to assist had these concerns been raised at the time.

My girlfriend and I stayed in this suite for a week and were happy with it overall. The place was clean and had a modern feel, which we appreciated.The cupboards had some food items stocked, and there was coffee available, which was convenient. The fridge also had a few drinks for us and there were various chocolates, which was a nice touch.We liked having several streaming service options to choose from for watching shows in the evenings. There was also access to a washer and dryer, which made things easier during our stay.One thing to note is that it’s a basement suite, so there’s a flight of stairs to get in. It wasn’t a problem for us, but it might be something to consider if stairs are an issue.All in all, it was a good spot for our stay and had everything we needed.
