About this property

The Hidden Cliff-Tiny Bishop Arts Tree House with Downtown View

Charming 190 square foot cottage (120 sq ft first floor, 70 sq ft sleeping loft), with plumbed kitchen and bathroom. Relax and make yourself at home in this just completed (Feb 2019) tiny house with the most beautiful panoramic views on the property of downtown Dallas. Park for free in circular drive of the main house, a 3600 square foot Mid-Century Modern Style Home, then enter the side yard, to your own little oasis. While staying, you have full access to the grounds.

The guest house is yours alone, however the deck it sits on (and the rest of the outdoor space) is occasionally occupied (though rarely) by the members of the family and their guests.

Upon departing the property, please take care to lock the door of the Cottage and lock the side gate (entrance to backyard). I do not have any outdoor pets, however there are several neighbors cats that cut through my backyard on their way home. You might also see owls, coyotes, possums, raccoons, hawks, bats, blue-jays, redbirds, mockingbirds (Texas State Bird), and many other.

Additionally, we have one short haired domestic cat living in the main house. You will not see her, unless she is lounging in the window.

A Room with a View
What a unique spot! We spent most of our time here sitting outside and admiring the view...even during a rainstorm. The main bed is comfortable and you get a great view from there as well. The tiny house has everything you need.

Great place and great host!
The view was spectacular. The tiny house is unique and tasteful. The Landscaping was great also. Bishop arts district has cool shops and had multiple live musicians up and down the street. Its a little world in it self.
