We loved our stay in this beautiful cottage. It was even prettier than the pictures. Advocate Harbour is a beautiful and interesting little town and the drive from Parrsboro tp Advpcate Harbour, while a bit more rugged than we anticipated, is stunningly beautiful with unbelievable scenery. There are lots of parks nearby and lots of interesting beaches. The cottage itself is very comfortable and clean with everything you need to cookyour own meals. I was grateful that there was a cozy dining room table and lots of apps on the television. Thanks Zoe for an amazing stay.

Amazing property

We loved that the check-in process was seamless - we weren’t prepared for no internet when we arrived and the code to the door box was in my email. It was figured out though so no harm done. Really enjoyed the wood stove, that added so much ambiance to the place for sure. The bedrooms very spacious but very warm, especially when wood stove going in the evening. The tub was huge but I was not able to enjoy a hot bath at the end of our paddling tour as the water was tepid at best. The owner offered to come and turn up the hot water heater for us but preferred we take a shower as the use of the water would have been substantial with the tub size. Kitchen was good, we would have preferred better frying pans but overall had everything we needed. A bit loud with the main road being right there but not a deal breaker. We would stay here again for sure!

I do apologize for the water situation, I was unaware the hot water on demand would have to be turned up higher to run a hot bath. I would have happily come and turned it up, but as mentioned the tub is huge and with Nova Scotia having been under drought like conditions all of July, and the water source being a well I was also just a bit worried about water conservation. Hopefully it rains soon! I’m glad you enjoyed your stay otherwise!
