The Upper Deck - Papamoa
Welcome to The Upper Deck, a beautifully spacious three-level coastal home set just across from Taylors Reserve on Papamoa Beach Road. With four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, this is a true beachside sanctuary designed for families, friends, or two groups travelling together. The home sits directly opposite the beach, with Taylors Reserve offering a wide, grassed space ideal for picnics, ball games, or peaceful morning strolls. And yes, even the dog can come along.
The layout has been thoughtfully designed to give everyone plenty of space to relax or come together. On the top floor, the open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area is filled with natural light and offers glimpses of the ocean. The lounge invites you to sink in with a book or share a glass of wine by the gas fire or out on the deck. Just off the kitchen, the front-facing deck includes a BBQ, perfect for casual cooking after a day at the beach. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a heat pump, coffee machine, and the indoor dining space makes it easy to enjoy meals together, whatever the weather. The home is set up for year-round comfort, with a heat pump in the master bedroom and heaters throughout.
For those working remotely, the home has Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace, complete with a desk and natural light. Whether you're logging in for meetings or catching up on emails, you'll be well connected while still enjoying the laid-back beach atmosphere.
On the lower level, a self-contained studio features a queen bed, ensuite, kitchenette and wardrobe. It’s ideal for grandparents, teenagers or anyone who appreciates a bit more privacy. One floor above, you’ll find two queen bedrooms and a generous master suite with a king split bed. This is a hospital-grade bed with independently adjustable sides, offering flexibility and comfort for a range of needs. The master also includes a walk-in wardrobe with a makeup desk, and a spacious ensuite with a shower, deep bath and toilet. All bedrooms have wardrobes and their own small deck, creating a sense of retreat within the home.
A lift runs from the garage to the top floor, making it easy for elderly guests or for carrying groceries and luggage. While convenient, the lift should only be used when needed and is not suitable for young children. Due to the number of stairs and a small pond near the garage, the home may not be suitable for toddlers. The property is fully fenced and gated with an electric entrance, providing a secure space for older children to explore.
The home is equipped with a washer and dryer, ideal for longer stays or for rinsing off the beach gear after a day by the water.
We welcome one small, hypoallergenic dog, provided they are over two years old, fully house trained and approved prior to your stay. Please get in touch with us before booking if you would like to bring your dog.
There is room for one car in the garage, with additional parking available in the driveway or on the street. The home is ideally located close to local cafés, walking tracks and the golden sands of Papamoa Beach, just across the road.
A short walk takes you to the popular Henry & Ted café, a favourite for morning coffee or brunch. Four Square is nearby for everyday essentials, and the newly opened New World is just a little further for a full grocery shop. Papa Mo’s is an easy option for dinner or drinks, with a relaxed atmosphere and a great menu. There’s also a movie theatre nearby for a quiet evening or rainy-day escape. Scenic bike and walking tracks weave through the neighbourhood. You can stroll along the new boardwalk that follows the dunes or explore the peaceful trails of the Papamoa waterways, all just moments from your doorstep. For golf lovers (and their four-legged companions), the dog-friendly Summerhills Golf Course is also just a short drive away.

Full payment for your stay will be processed 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival.
Guest Portal:
You will receive a guest portal link from Beyonder, the manager of the property, before your arrival.
Please utilize this link to provide your credit card details and upload a valid ID.
Booking Confirmation:
Your booking is considered provisional until the completion of the guest portal, payment has been made and there has been a successful bond hold.
Bond Hold:
A bond hold will be placed on your credit card 7 working days before your scheduled arrival.
The hold will be released 7 working days after your departure, provided the home is returned in the same pristine condition in which it was found.
Deductions may be made from this bond in the event of any incidentals or excess cleaning.
