While awaiting its complete renovation, scheduled for the fall, this village house welcomes you at a very reasonable price for a peaceful vacation in its large garden of over 2,000 m², featuring both sunny and shaded areas.

It features a kitchen, a living room, three bedrooms, a sitting room, and a bathroom. There’s also a small bedroom and a little summer kitchen that opens directly onto the garden.

This recently acquired house is, as they say, “in its original condition,” meaning: functional with basic amenities but more than sufficient for a vacation.

The house overlooks Najac, a magnificent village in the Aveyron region, 15 minutes from Villefranche-de-Rouergue. The garden borders the ramparts of the royal fortress built atop the hill. The view of the Aveyron Valley and the ring of hills overlooking it is exceptional—it’s truly a magical place!

Ranked among the “most beautiful villages in France,” Najac is a welcoming town nestled in the heart of a lush green region offering countless activities: in addition to visiting numerous sites, historic monuments, and fascinating museums, you can go hiking, biking, mountain biking, swimming in the river, rock climbing, and more…

Far from mass tourism, the region is renowned for its cuisine and the quality of its locally grown produce, as well as for the warmth of its hospitality.

The house is available from July 31 through August 14, and then from August 21 through September 18.

The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, a gas stove with oven, a microwave, a toaster, and a coffee maker.

The bathroom includes a sink, shower, and separate toilet.

The summer kitchen (very rustic!) features a gas stove and a very convenient gas grill. It’s also equipped with an old washing machine—but it still works!

In the village, you’ll find a grocery store offering organic and local products, a bakery, a café-tobacco shop, several restaurants, and a wine cellar. The local farmers’ market takes place every Sunday morning. Several producers (vegetables, meat, cheese, etc.) also offer direct sales at their farms.

Other shops and an Intermarché with a gas station are located in La Fouillade (5 km from Najac). More options are available in Villefranche (a 15-minute drive away) if needed.
