Great location between the beach and First Landing State Park. Large common area encompassing the living and dining room and the kitchen was perfect for our group to prep food, eat, and hang out together. Check in and check out were smooth and simple.

Wonderful stay on the north end! The house was clean and welcoming. It had everything we needed for the kitchen and beach. Most rentals have low quality bedding, but the beds and pillows here were very comfortable! The owners were very responsive and you can tell they genuinely want you to enjoy their home. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again.

What an incredible stay. This place is so SO worth it for the price - like truly what a steal. It's beautiful, so nice, such a lovely spot with the pool, so spacious, great areas for everyone to be together and really nice rooms with nice touches. We would totally book again if we're back!

The Modernist Oasis is just that, an oasis! The house itself is beautiful, clean, well appointed and comfortable. There are plenty of spaces indoors and out for gathering; the kitchen is well equipped for preparing and serving a large family, the living room has ample comfortable seating, the screened porch is lovely and the pool is beautiful with plenty of seating. The beach is very accessible, just a few steps from the house. The beach at this location is very wide but the house is equipped with a buggy to help transport any equipment needed. Any plenty of equipment was provided!We didn't venture out much but the house is near the entrance to First Landing State Park, the Cape Henry Lighthouse and not far from the Boardwalk. The hosts were very cordial, helpful and communicative. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this location!

This property and location did not disappoint. We were able to host several adults, with no one feeling crammed. The layout is fantastic, and the location, well, have we mentioned the location? We were right at the end of 'Pool' season, and it was enjoyed by everyone in our group on several days. The kitchen layout is great for big group meals, and socializing. We would definitely stay here again.

First trip to Virginia Beach

We had a good first time stay in Virginia Beach. The house was in a good location for beach access, bike riding and shopping. The kids loved having a separate house than adults to hangout. Plenty of space for 9 people even when we were all in the main house. Nice screened in porch. We would stay there again!

Amazing property!!!!

Not only was the home absolutely stunning, but the hospitality you showed us went far beyond anything I could have imagined. From the thoughtful extra amenities—like the bicycles, beach towels, and more—we truly felt cared for and appreciated every detail.I had the pleasure of staying at the property with five young ladies from our mental wellness organization, and they all had an amazing time. Your warmth and generosity were deeply felt by each of us. Thank you for making our stay so special!

Wowsers!What a beautiful, yet practical, place! Fantastic location, steps away from the ocean. And did my family have EVER so much fun in the pool! There is a guest house with 2 bedrooms in the front, next to the pool, that was perfectly outfitted with all you need. Then a large main house adjacent to that with 4 additional bedrooms that was truly luxurious. Truly amazing!Worse part about it is it’s almost over. Would definitely rent again.

This was a great house an awesome swimming pool. It was close to the beach and had all of the amenities you could ever need. Since there was only four of us, we just stayed in the main house, but the (mother-in-law suite) looked very nice.

Friends trip

This was a perfect house for me and 9 of my high school friends to have a little reunion. The house was clean and in a great location. Very close to the beach and good restaurants. The host was very friendly and responsive throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend it for friend/family gathering.

Beautiful Home and Great Location!

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at this property. The home itself was amazing! The design and layout were phenomenal! Our nephew and his fiancé enjoyed staying in the separate "guest house" with our 15 year old, and the two youngest kids loved the bunk bed room. Our middle teen had a king room all to herself and had to be coerced out of it. We had a king room left over because my mom wasn't able to come with us, but the kids enjoyed that room as well. The beds were all amazing and I have to get those pillows - I slept so well!. The decor and fixtures were all modern with a home-away-from-home feel to them. The tub in the master king upstairs was lovely. I think all of us loved the pool and we were in it every day. We only made it to the beach one day because the pool was so amazing. Location-wise this home is perfect, literally right next to the beach access path. We were able to visit Busch Gardens and sneak a parents' night out at Cooper's Hawk Winery. Great base location to do other activities in the VB area. Overall, we loved this property and were sad to leave it. We were all very comfortable because it really did feel like home. We would definitely stay at this property again.
