Lovely house. Very clean and had everything we needed. Short one block walk to the lake. Host was very helpful and quick to respond to questions we had. We enjoyed our first trip to the Finger Lakes area!

The house is recently renovated, beds are very comfortable and kitchen fully equipped. There is no lake view, 5 people can sleep there, 4 can eat at the table and 3 watch TV in the livingroom. The host was very good with communication and sent us to a better fishing spot than the nearby boat launch/beach. The two porches were unexpected, and nice.

We're glad you enjoyed the recent renovations, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, and the two porches. You're right that the lake view becomes less visible later in the season, so we plan on removing that from the description. The dining and TV areas are in one open space, and we plan on limiting the listing to 4 guests going forward to better reflect that setup.

Beautiful rental, great for 4 people who can share the 2 full beds. MUST read the description of the rental thoroughly!!! This rental is NOT on the water, nor can you see the lake from the deck in summertime. But if you are okay with that, this rental is fantastic!!! Perfect little place for a getaway weekend. Mike, the owner, was very quick to respond to emails with questions.

The house was ok. There was still dirt and trash on the kitchen table so I don’t think it got thoroughly cleaned between guests. The bed was not comfortable. The listing was misleading. It said it came with a dock and showed pictures of a dock, however, the dock is not on the property. It’s a quarter of a mile drive, and it’s a shared dock. There were other boats there. And there was no information provided at the house on where to and how to access it. The owners were very responsive to texts though. For my purpose of booking the house, it was disappointing.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. The dock is shared and located a short drive from the property, as noted in the listing. We understand the current photos were taken in early spring and may not fully reflect the setting, so we’re updating them to provide greater clarity for future guests. We personally inspect the home after each cleaning and will continue monitoring the kitchen table to ensure our cleanliness standards are met. Both bedrooms have newer mattresses, though we understand comfort preferences can vary. We’re glad communication was easy throughout your stay and appreciate your feedback as we continue improving the guest experience.
