Interior has been recently updated with new flooring, appliances, and a recently opened floor plan. The main living space is highlighted by a stone fireplace and walks out to the back yard with stunning rock outcroppings. Upstairs there are 4 bedroom (or 3 BRs and an Office option) and 2 baths. This house was great! The welcome was unmatched, the branding on the home was so fun! The kitchen was equipped, the internet was working, the property was quiet and secluded. And our host was communicative and flexible. So so great! Pool was perfect

Amazing host, wonderful Property

The host was more than helpful with his properties. Very communicative with all the staff we were putting up for the week. This and his two other properties we rented for our stay were in top shape and easy to get in and get comfortable.

Lovely house for casual stay

We had a very pleasant stay and will be sure to visit the area again for the charming towns, shops, and scenery. The house was very comfortable for a casual week away. My only negatives were there was a funky odor in the upstairs twin bed where the washer and dryer is, and the TP and PT supply was sub-par. Otherwise, it was lovely - plenty of firewood and the ping pong table was a blast. Beautiful walking area.

Thank you for staying! I will check and clean fully the washer dryer spare bedroom for the laundry smell you encountered. Sorry on the paper towel and toilet paper supplies - we actually only furnish a starting supply of all disposables - a few rolls of paper towels and a couple rolls of toilet paper per bathroom at all of our homes. But glad you enjoyed the fire and ping pong and farm neighborhood! Hope that you will return again! Steve

Welcome to PoshPadsCT,com, our collection of pristine renovated country rental homes located in historic, rural Litchfield County, within a scenic 2-hour drive from NYC. Washington is exceptional for its excellent restaurants, spas, antique shops, art galleries, boutiques, farms, historic homes, gardens, vineyards, distilleries, and orchards. The Gilmore Girls creator modelled Stars Hollow, the perfect Connecticut town, after Washington and the Independence Inn after the Mayflower Inn. It is the current or former home to many artists, writers, actors and Wall Street executives – referred to as "more Vermont, than Vermont" and "the un-Hamptons". Nature preserves, Lake Waramaug, and the Shepaug River offer extensive hiking, biking, and water activities. Mohawk and Sundown Ski Areas , Lime Rock Raceway, and Quassy Amusement Park are all a short drive.
