Family Fun Lake House - Near Auburn & Montgomery

Beautiful sunset lake views from all gathering rooms in the house. Three bedrooms have king sized beds with their own private bathrooms. The bunk bed room sleeps eight and there are two additional rooms with two twin beds. Enjoy a game of pool or ping pong with your family or take in a movie on the large screen projector in the family room. Kayaks, paddle board, canoe and Maui Mat are available for use also. The lot is mostly flat and our house is close to the water. Everyone will enjoy the top deck jump off platform during the day and the greenlight for fishing at night. We do have an outside video surveillance system for security purposes.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

We loved the property! It was a perfect place visit with our children and grandchildren.

The house felt like home! We all had a relaxing place to sleep. There were multiple places to gather as a group or dine. The lake is beautiful and the property had a canoe, some kayaks and a paddle board. We had a great time!

This was the best VRBO I’ve stayed in. The whole family had a blast! So many amenities, and the double decker dock was amazing. Communication with the host could not have been better. Will definitely stay again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfect home for all ages!

This was one of the most memorable vacations for our extended family! We had family as young as 1 to grandparents. The hosts are wonderful and very accessible for any questions throughout our stay. The home is lovely with plenty of toys and activities for all ages. The double level dock and night fishing light were huge hits! Will be coming back here again :-).

Heavenly Sunsets

First off, the House was fantastic, very comfortable, and very spacey for for 12 of us! 8 Adults and 4 kids. The dock was in great shape, and the kids loved the Maui Mat. I enjoyed paddle Boarding throughout the coves to check it all out. You will want to grill at the house. 2 Brand new grills with amazing sunset views. The sunsets were something out of a movie or on a postcard. At night the green light comes on, and great for fishing. We will rent again. The homeowners were very responsive to my questions and were very kind throughout the booking process and when we stayed there! Highly recommend this house.

Great family vacation home for boating

This home was a great fit for our family lake vacation. The dock was amazing and had plenty of room for our boat and waverunners...and a upper level for the kids to jump off. Inside the layout was terrific. Upper level had 2 bedrooms, kitchen , dining areas and movie projector. Lower level had plenty of sleeping areas, bathrooms, and a ping pong/pool table to settle old family scores. Tons of extras we didn't think to expect in the kitchen, lake toys and a charcoal grill on the deck. The home is close to several marinas, restaurants and cliff jumping for the brave of heart. The hosts were excellent and always available. We really enjoyed our stay and made amazing family memories.

Felt like home

We stayed just short of a week, and it was hard to leave. The house was comfortable, clean, and inviting. We loved having such easy access to the lake without having to traverse dozens of winding stairs. The property owners were friendly and communicative. Highly recommend this property.

Fun at Lake Martin

This is the BEST lake house!! We celebrated my son’s 16th birthday and this was the perfect house. The entire downstairs was perfect for teenagers. They literally had everything! The ping pong table/pool table was a huge hit with the boys! They also loved jumping off of the upper deck into the lake! We all had such a great time at this lovely home! It’s also in a great location. Super close to Chuck’s marina/pizza, Chimney Rock, and Niffers! Great sunsets too!!!

Fantastic Lake House

Our two daughters and SILs met us here for a family Spring Break. Plenty of parking. The house is very comfy with plenty of room to spread out and well stocked with linens. The kitchen is filled with utensils and tools to cook gourmet meals. The House Rules on the refrigerator was very handy. The first few days were cold and windy, but the house kept us entertained with ladder golf (with and into the wind), billiards, puzzles and the projector TV. This was when we were not horseback riding, hiking and dining at Kowaliga and Springhouse. We also went to Opelika to visit Angel's Antique & Flea Mall, a brewery for lunch and a distillery. When the weather changed, during the day we switched to kayaks, paddleboat and my boat for touring and bass fishing. At night we used the fire pit and greenlight. The greenlight helped us eat a lot of great fresh fish thanks to fish-catching SIL and gourmet chef SIL. Jonathan also had a new grill that was used for chicken and sweet potatoes. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful Columbus Day weekend trip!

The home and all the amenities were perfect for our trip! Lake Martin is beautiful and we will be visiting again. Home was amazing. Great views and the game room was a big hit with the children and grownups also.

Very comfortable home with a great dock

My extended family of 15 convened on this property for a late summer gathering. Our ages ranged from 5 to 50. The house was very clean. The beds were very comfortable, and the A/C worked great (important in late summer in AL). There was ample parking for 4 vehicles, including a boat trailer. The house is very tastefully decorated with two great living spaces. The house appears to be a very thoughtfully planned renovation. The owners clearly made great decisions. The bunk room is perfect for young children/teens. The kitchen is probably smaller than you may expect in a home of this size, but it is very functional and never seemed cramped, even for our large group. It is worth mentioning that the lot is NOT a steep slope to the water. We spent a lot of time on the dock. The upper level jump was hugely popular for all ages. While we did not have access to the boat slips, we easily fit 3 boats (22', 23', and 24') around the dock without issue. The 2nd refrigerator was not cooling properly, but we worked around it easily – and we brought all of our food for a 4-night stay. A new refrigerator is on order but wasn't able to be installed in time. The upstairs patio is large and comfortable, with great views of the lake. Communication with the owners was responsive and clear.

Relaxing/Fun Family Gathering

My wife and I hosted a family gathering for our two son's and their families. The house is perfect for a large group. Not a bit crowded. It is beautifully furnished and decorated and the view of Lake Martin is fantastic. We enjoyed the pier and all the water toys. Pool was a big hit with the college age grandchildren. The gorgeous sunsets will always be remembered. Jonathon was very helpful with all my questions.

There is not enough space to mention everything good about this rental - from dealing with the owners, to all of the amenities. We have been using VRBO for 15 years. This was, by far, the BEST! We will be booking our week for next summer.

Family weekend for graduation!

Had extended family with enough room for everyone. Two living spaces were so nice to have for a large group of 17. Not overcrowded at all. It was well stocked. 2 full size refrigerator were so convenient. Game room was lots of fun. Easy walk to the dock and lake. Would love to rent again!

Great house!

The house was beautiful and super cozy. We were a party of ten, and there was way more room than we needed. I don’t know if it was just the off-season (we were there the first week of April), but it was super quiet. We enjoyed the gorgeous views of the sunset over Lake Martin every night -from the porch or from the dock. The kids loved jumping from the second floor of the dock, rowing in the kayaks, and playing on the Maui mat. We rented a pontoon boat and the owner gave us instructions on where (on the very large dock) would be safest to leave it / easiest to park. There was an RV park next door, but it was incredibly quiet and I think it may have been a retirement community ? The neighborhood felt very safe. We had lovely fires in the Firepit by the lake after dark. It was a very quick boat ride to Kowliga, goat island, and Chimney rock. Everyone loved their stay!

Perfect house for several families

A great house for several families to stay together. Very cozy and welcoming! Plenty of room to spread out upstairs and downstairs. The owners were very helpful with questions and made the process of booking and planning our trip very easy. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

Relaxing Weekend at the Lake

This is a great property for a relaxing stay with friends at Lake Martin. The kitchen was well stocked with all the supplies you might need for home cooked meals. The projector in the living room made for a great evening watching MLB Playoff Games. The bunk room in the basement sleeps 8 and is great for the kids. The kids loved hanging out in the basement in the evenings playing ping pong or pool. The amount of "toys" that were available to play with in the lake was amazing. Kayaks and Canoes, SUP, Maui Mat, Fishing Poles and a platform on top of the dock to jump from. The location on the lake was great as well. Tucked into a nice cove with quick access to nice deep calm water to run around on a seadoo or boat. Just a short ride out to Chimney Rock and Goat Island for some sight seeing. Overall a great time was had by all, can't wait to rent it again in the Spring.

We finished most of the interior by ourselves and have spent many weekends enjoying the property over the years. Last year, we decided that we would like to share it with other families so that they could enjoy it too.
