Relax and enjoy our modern and bright guest suite, with its private entrance, off-street parking space, and deck overlooking beautiful Bedford Basin. Our lovely suite includes a queen size bed, sitting area with internet TV and free WiFi, its own kitchenette (with fridge and microwave) and a spacious bath (including hair dryer, W/D and iron & board). The suite is smoke-free, pet-free, and carpeting-free.
In quiet, established neighborhood overlooking Bedford Basin. Property backs to serene, thickly wooded parkland of Admiral Cove Park. Walking distance to waterfront and the heart of Bedford, where you'll find: the library, the fun landmark Chickenburger (Canada's oldest drive-in diner), two shopping malls that include a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, bookstore, drug store and grocers (including a Pete's Fine Foods - Nova Scotia's top gourmet grocery.) Located 15 minutes from Stanfield International Airport and 15 minutes to downtown Halifax.

Everything was perfect during the stay! The suite is very well equipped, and we lacked nothing. It’s comfortable and quiet. Also, the place is very well located to visit the surroundings. Amit and his family were very welcoming. We will gladly recommend this property!

I had to leave on Tuesday the 25th due to mold on baseboard ,shower ect ,as i do have asthma. The walk up to the house was slippery as i almost feel a few times and some of the deck boards were rotten. I feel i wasted my money on this stay. The pictures posted were not true pic of the condition .

Everything was perfect. Clean and tidy. Amit had everything we needed (coffee, fruit, juices). We did a load of laundry and had detergent provided. Great location to all that we wanted for 4 days.

Very nice apartment: comfortable bed and sofa, plenty of towels, kitchen well equipped. Very quiet area: we enjoyed eating our breakfast outside on the patio. Downtown Halifax is an easy 15 minutes by car but the area has very good restaurants, shopping malls and grocery stores. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend it highly!

The apartment was generally clean and tidy, with the amenities as advertised. There were a few issues, which were addressed promptly and graciously by the owner - this was appreciated. We found the owner to be a genuine and accommodating person. Since we were there for 5 nights, the only thing we felt that was missing from this place were drawers for storage of our clothes. Otherwise a very quaint and quiet place to stay.

Relaxing & Convenient

We had a lovely stay. Amrit was very responsive, and gave us all the information we needed prior to checking in and once we’d arrived. The location is a bit outside Halifax but still close enough that we had no issues getting where we wanted to go and the parking was great. The kitchen, while not a full kitchen, was still stocked with all the appliances and utensils we needed for a five night stay. Everything was very clean and we’d love to stay again if our travels bring us back to the area.

I’m not sure we are the target demographic as we are in the mid 60’s to mid 70’s age range and stayed for over a month in early spring.The bed was very comfortable, if a little claustrophobic. The water for the shower was hot and the internet speed was fast. The laundry facility was very useful and we appreciated the tea, coffee and snacks provided at checkin.Unfortunately there was bad weather while we were there and although the host cleared the snow in the afternoon the next morning I had to clear the stairs and the walkway. The next day was very icy and the steps were very dangerous. May I suggest you cut back the foliage near the steps so it is easier to use the handrail. A bigger tv would have been nice.

Bedford Suite

We chose this location as it was close to nearby family in Bedford. A good location for an extended stay such as ours. Temperature control within the suite was somewhat problematic; however, we were there at a time of year when the winter weather were not great most of the time. Minor enhancements could be done: for example, the suite is dominated by a large table and four chairs that could be replaced by something smaller given that only two people can occupy the suite - this would provide an impression of more living space. Overall, we would stay here again. Our host was easy to reach and quite accommodating.

Good location, close to shopping and connections. Lovely neighbourhood and nicely decorated. Quite a steep driveway and stairs, but thankfully we were on the first floor.
