Summer holiday

We had a lovely stay in this great gite.Eric and Virginie are lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome. The property is really charming, with everything we needed and even the bonus of a pool table. We stayed for 6 nights but would happily have stayed longer.

We had a happy time at Virginie and Eric's gite. It is in a fantastic location, we were lucky getting some sunshine too. Virginie and Eric are very helpful and nice 😊

Had a lovely stay at the gite in July. The property was spotless when we arrived, and Virginie welcomed us to the gite on arrival, before showing us around the house and grounds. The pool is fabulous and has some inflatables and noodles for visitors to use, as well as plenty of seating and sunloungers. The gite is located around 2km from St Agneau, where there are some shops and a pharmacy. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need (including an airfryer!) and the pool table and bar is great! The bathroom maybe needs a bit of updating but it was very clean and everything worked as it should. The owners live on site and respond very quickly to any issues. They have 2 dogs, one of which is super friendly and the other keeps her distance. We had a great time and would happily come back for another stay!

Wij verbleven afgelopen augustus in Gîte des fonds clairaux, geboekt via de VRBO-app. Ik heb specifiek gekozen voor deze accommodatie omdat er in de advertentie expliciet stond dat het zwembad rolstoeltoegankelijk is. Voor mij was dit het belangrijkste punt: ons gezin had een relaxte vakantie nodig, waarbij we hele dagen, ongestoord, lekker aan het zwembad konden niksen.Bij aankomst bleek echter dat de woning en het zwembad in werkelijkheid helemaal niet rolstoeltoegankelijk zijn. De ingang is niet drempelloos, de benedenverdieping kent hoogteverschillen en de oprit bestaat uit kiezelstenen. Ook de route naar het zwembad (die in de tuin van het hoofdverblijf ligt) is smal, oneffen en via een heuveltje met rotsen. Voor een rolstoel is dit niet toegankelijk en zeker niet veilig.Het zwembad is ook niet prive, zoals in de advertentie vermeld wordt. Het ligt in de tuin van de eigenaar en is ook toegankelijk voor hun gasten. (In ons geval logeerde familie er een week). Bij het zwembad komen ook regels, zo mogen kinderen niet alleen zwemmen (onze dochter van 12 kan prima zwemmen..) en mag het zwembad in de middag een aantal uur niet gebruikt worden.Tot mijn grote teleurstelling kon ik het zwembad praktisch niet gebruiken. Bij een poging kantelde mijn rolstoel zelfs bijna, waardoor ik niet meer durfde te gaan. Dit heeft mijn vakantie sterk beïnvloed: ik heb me ziek en verdrietig gevoeld en uiteindelijk besloten om te verhuizen naar een andere accommodatie, vijf uur verderop

Bonjour, Nous prenons un grand intérêt à répondre à votre demande. Nous prenons un grand soin à indiquer sur notre page d'accueil à ce que le règlement intérieur de notre gîte soit parfaitement lucide et clair. Généralement la grande majorité des voyageurs nous demande les précisions qu'ils ont besoin d'avoir quand ils sont dans l'hésitation. Tous les renseignements que vous avez critiqués ou remis en question s'avèrent être explicites sur le site. Mon mari a pendant plusieurs années été famille d'accueil pour les handicapés pendant les vacances. Il s'est toujours préoccupé du bien être de leur séjour. Si vous relisez comme il se doit le règlement intérieur que vous n'avez, sans doute, pas lu correctement, vous pourrez y découvrir qu'il n'y a pas d'ambivalence sur l'accueil des handicapés avec des détails bien explicites. Suite à votre commentaire : nous avons été très surpris alors qu'il y a la possibilité de dormir au rez-de-chaussée que vous ayez choisi d'utiliser un escalier et de choisir une chambre au 1er étage. Secundo : Vous n'avez absolument pas respecté les heures indiqués d'accès à la piscine. Tertio : Vous n'avez pas hésité non plus à venir manger autour de la piscine et laisser votre enfant une grosse partie de la journée s'éclater au bord de la piscine sans votre présence. Nous vous avons fait aucun reproche à ce sujet et surveiller votre enfant afin qu'il n'arrive rien. Je clôturerai en disant que vous n'avez, je pense, pas du tout lu le règlement intérieur et pas poser de questions en amont lors de votre réservation. Nous sommes très déçus de cet échange. Fantastisch verblijf bij Virginie en Erik – een vakantie om nooit te vergeten!We werden hartelijk en warm ontvangen door onze gastgevers Virginie en Erik. Hun gastvrijheid was voelbaar vanaf het eerste moment, en het huis bood werkelijk alles wat je nodig hebt voor een ontspannen en gezellige tijd met familie. Van verfrissende duiken in het zwembad tot fanatieke potjes pool en spelletjes — er was vermaak voor iedereen. De uitgestrekte tuin was de perfecte plek om samen te komen, te genieten van de natuur en mooie herinneringen te maken.We verbleven hier twee weken met onze hele familie ter ere van het 50-jarige huwelijk van onze (schoon)ouders, en het was een prachtige plek om deze bijzondere mijlpaal te vieren. Ondanks dat Virginie en Erik op hetzelfde terrein wonen, biedt het domein zoveel ruimte en privacy dat je elkaar nauwelijks tegenkomt — tenzij je geluk hebt, zoals wij, en wordt uitgenodigd om een kijkje te nemen bij de repetitie van hun muziekband. Een uniek en verrassend hoogtepunt!Kortom: een sfeervol, compleet en gastvrij verblijf dat we iedereen zouden aanraden.

La piscine quoique non chauffée est très bien. Un grand parc pour se détendre. Nous avons souvent échangé avec nos hôtes et partagés plusieurs apéritifs. Région riche en monuments et propice aux balades en moto.

Une belle parenthèse enchantée

Les photos correspondent parfaitement à ce que nous avons eu et donc voulu. Virginie et Éric sont toujours là si nous avons le moindre souci ou si nous avons besoin de conseil sur les sorties. C'est appréciable. Le seul bémol serait la literie. Nous pensons que les sommiers sont à revoir.

Toute la literie a été revue l'année dernière avec des sommiers en lattes. Peut être que vous n'êtes pas habitués. Par contre on ne peut vraiment pas dire que vous avez laissé le gîte propre malgré les efforts du jeune homme qui était là et qui était lui très agréable.

Les Fonds Clairaux est un gîte de campagne style longère comme précisé sur le site. Avec lits en bois, table de ferme de salle à manger avec bancs à l'ancienne, équipée d'une cuisine aménagée. Le thème n'est pas du tout maison moderne. Les nombreuses photos sur le site correspondent tout à fait à notre gîte. Cordialement Éric et Virginie

Noël en famille

J'ai loué le gîte des fonds de Clairvaux pour passer 3 jours à Noël en famille. Le gîte est tout simplement idéal avec grande cuisine fonctionnelle (il y a tout), la grande table pour des repas chaleur, une grande cheminée pour l'ambiance et la salle de jeux avec le billard, les ados étaient enchantés. Les 3 chambres sont confortables. Un joli extérieur (sûrement parfait l'été). Merci pour la communication et l'accueil chaleureux (la confiture était très bonne). Nous reviendrons. Nous avons passé 3 jours dans ce gîte : la location correspondait parfaitement à l'annonce (cuisine bien équipée et fonctionnelle, grande pièce à vivre, magnifique parc). Les plus de ce gîte sont la salle de billard pour des soirées très sympas entre amis et une piscine qui a fait le bonheur de nos 2 adolescentes ! Accueil chaleureux avec des propriétaires disponibles et très attentionnés. Nous recommandons vivement et y reviendrions avec grand plaisir. Un excellent séjour pour se retrouver à mi-chemin entre Toulouse et Paris.
