Stay at a cozy condo on the shore of Lake Martin. Lounge by either pool while watching boats pass, or take comfort on the balcony to witness the best sunsets Alabama has to offer. Catch a game on the patio or on our 70" TV in the living room. Feel free to enjoy our coffee bar, Traeger grill, sleeper sofa, boat slip and fully equipped kitchen. Visit Chuck's, Kowaliga, Copper's Grill or many other restaurant options only a short car/boat ride away. Just tell your friends, you're "Gone Fishin".

Wonderful time at the Lake

The condo was well decorated, clean, and had a great view of Lake Martin. Patti was easy to work with and very accommodating. We are already making plans to come back.

Great view and amenities !

Loved the view from the patio, especially with the outdoor TV and wood fired grill. Inside was very well appointed and nicely decorated.. Great place to stay! Nice pool area only steps away

Big Lake View

We truly had a great time at Gone Fishing. The unit is decorated beautifully. It is very well stocked . The beds are super comfortable. The view is amazing. Only negative is outside where the building could use cleaning.and paint.

Impromptu Vacation

My husband and I decided to explore Lake Martin for the first time, and we stayed at Shannon and Patti’s condo. The condo was as advertised, it was very clean, comfortably furnished, and the expansive views were the best we saw on the lake. The sunset views were simply amazing. The hosts were extremely responsive. I would highly recommend renting this condo if coming to Lake Martin.

Perfect!

The condo overlooks Lake Martin. It was very clean, nicely decorated, and had all the comforts of home. Very peaceful and relaxing. We took a sunset guided tour of Lake Martin, which was an amazing time and a great way to experience Lake Martin up-close. We enjoyed our stay, and "Gone Fishing" was the perfect place to call home while visiting our daughter at Auburn!

Lakeside Perfection

This unit, located in the upscale Crowne Pointe community, offers unparalleled views of Lake Martin, two pools, and deep water (year round) slips for boats. “Gone Fishing” has upgraded finished throughout, was clean, beautifully decorated and came stocked with all the basics you might need as well as a host of extras like a truly delightful coffee bar. The host communicated clearly and often—really great to work with. We look forward to an opportunity to stay there again.

The Best 😊

Lovely in every way- as advertised. Stunning views w breathtaking sunsets, excellent property overall: grounds very well kept, quiet/family oriented and unit was right above pool (I could see my kids from our balcony). We took our boat so having our own slip right in front of the condo was perfect (and boat ramp is literally right around the corner for easy take in/out). Interior was lovely as well including some nice touches like a coffee bar, comfy beds, and upgraded tvs (including one on balcony) and Traeger grill outside…our steaks were yummy. Thank you Patti and Shannon for a wonderful vacation making memories with our family…we will be back!! 😊 ☀️

Great getaway!

Our first time to Lake Martin, we usually head to the Gulf for the holidays. But this was one of the cleanest and best equipped condos in which we have ever stayed! The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, from the Coffee Bar to the comfortable mattresses to the grill on the patio! Everything was labeled with instructions including the remotes and the grill! The complex was the same! The pool and boat dock were perfect! The only negative that we could see was garbage removal. The hike up to the dumpsters were a bit much. Other than that, we had a great stay!

Moving into house and needed a place until it was ready .

This condo was awesome . The view was fantastic , the pictures online are great but the actual condo is better than the pictures . Easy check in and out . Decorated beautifully . Quiet and WiFi connection was great , I worked remotely with zero issues in.connectivity . Thanks Patti , we will be back in June . Laura

We choose this neighborhood because of the open water, the quality construction, the pool but ultimately the fact that we could go everywhere without taking a step. Walk ways to the pool and the pier and the elevator from the parking lot make it easy to get around without any stairs. While this isn’t a problem for us now, we know it could be in the future.
