We had a wonderful time staying at the Cottage. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. There was plenty of space for everyone who was staying. The house is really close to the Ledges for my daughter and other girls to ride in a weekend horse show. We will would love to come back and stay again!!
Everything about this place was beautiful. The house was very clean and was so inviting. The property is beautiful with tons of open land for kids and dogs to run around, a pond (with a row boat) to fish in and the trails in the forest were terrific. Kerry was very accommodating and so easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Thanks Joy it was a pleasure to host your family! Joy is a great guest. We would love to host them again.
Our weekend away from the city was perfect. This house was perfect. More than enough room for my family of 10 with two dogs. Plenty of fishes in the pond. Jared was a terrific host! Would recommend!
The property was beautiful with lots space for the kids to enjoy themselves. The house was very clean with plenty of room for my family. You might need some more pots and pans and overall utinsals. The beds were very comfortable but there were no televisions in any bedrooms. In order to watch TV you had to either watch in the kitchen or downstairs in the basement. Maybe see about putting a TV in the master bathroom and the living room. This is just a suggestion. For the most part my family had a great time and we enjoyed everything especially fishing. We caught 34 Brims one day and 17 the next. It made for a wonderful dinner the last night. I will definitely come back.
We loved everything about this cottage. Beautiful setting, the layout was smart for a young family. Plenty of space to stretch out. Bathrooms and kitchen were immaculate. Beds were comfortable and well appointed. Hope to be back!
Lovely spaces to celebrate Christmas with family. The decorations were great and we enjoyed the fireplace. Check in was easy, and the house was very user-friendly. One wish would be that the amenities in the cupboards could match the upscale kitchen. Since there were not as many cups or bowls as the house can host we had to make a Walmart run to have enough dinnerware and bakeware.
I drove my mom, aunt, their good friend, and myself from MS to this house to visit with family and friends who live from Janesville to Rockford. The property was gorgeous. The house was tastefully decorated with antiques and cozy furniture. We admired the attention to detail in decor. The host was very communicative and easy to contact. If it were warmer outside I would have traversed the land, but it was too cold for our blood. Maybe another time.
This cottage is really a gem. We stayed here while my daughter did an equestrian program at Ledges and it couldn't have been more convenient. It's on a beautiful piece of property and super quiet. Very relaxing for any type of getaway. Owners were lovely and very responsive to any questions. Would definitely return.
Lovely property with trails and pond. Beautiful house, very clean. We experienced issues with AC, and a few other things and the owners were very kind and prompt to address the issues. Communication was very good! Thanks
My family chose this property as a getaway from the city, and it was a perfect place for us to explore the outdoors! The pond is visible from the deck, making it a perfect place to watch the geese, turkeys, and ducks that roamed the property. The hiking trails were nicely maintained and perfect for kids, adults, and dogs alike.
We really appreciated the extra touches in the house such as the toys in the basement and the bottled water in the fridge. We would be happy to return anytime!
The best place I have stayed to date. An absolute dream.
I can’t think of a single con for this property - maybe aside from not being able to buy it and keep it! Kerry was incredibly helpful, communicative and courteous. All the “extra”s made the stay that much better. From a fully stocked kitchen, extra cleaning supplies and plenty of space to stretch out in the perfectly decorated living room. Her cleaning staff left the house in an immaculate fashion, I was just worried to leave it any less than we found it! The additional attention and care for our furry friends (outdoor toys, doggie bags and treats) was the cherry on top of a perfect stay.
As we all left, we agreed to (praying it’s not booked!) make this our annual after- Christmas vacation home.
Kudos to Kerry and her husband for absolutely changing my perspective of what a vacation home should look and feel like.
*For anyone hesitant simply based on the price point: RENT IT. It’s worth the money and then some.
We had a great time at the cabin - loved building fires, and exploring the woods. It was a great weekend away from the city! We spent Thanksgiving there and the host was very accommodating to our early check in and making sure we had what we needed.
