A bright, airy, cycladic inspired villa situated in a very peaceful area of Plaka alongside quaint churches. Aside from the fully equip kitchen the villa is ideally designed for al fresco living with multiple verandahs, BBQ, selection of outdoor furnishings, private swimming pool and the ultimate in luxury with a private outdoor jacuzzi. This home boasts large bedrooms each with its own bathroom and closet. The home boasts both stunning mountain and sea views.
Large doors and windows welcome the cool breeze and invite the calming views of the surrounding countryside. An easy 11min walk to the famous beach of Plaka. Here there is also a bus stop or alternatively we recommend renting a car for ease of movement (8km to town 4km to the airport) and the flexibility to access the diverse villages and landmarks of the island.

Fantastic stay - great place, perfect host!

Sofia’s Villa is in a great location about 1min drive from the best beach in Naxos (Plaka Beach). The property is fantastic, super comfortable and fully equipped for a family staying and was super well maintained throughout our stay. Chantelle is an amazing host, always super responsive and very friendly. Highly recommend!

Wonderful villa!

Chantelle was the perfect host and helped us book a local tour plus our port transfers. She even came to the airport on our arrival and helped with our luggage because we had so much! Above and beyond service! This villa was close to restaurants and the beach. It was cleaned daily by the crew. We will definitely stay here when we come back to Naxos. Next time, we will rent a car for even more convenience.

Wonderful villa

The Villa was exactly as we expected - perfect location for our family of 5 adults. Quiet area (except for the planes which pass overhead only a few times a day but was of no bother in fact we found it quite amusing). We were greeted by Angelos who was so thorough and spent a lot of time recommending where to go during our stay. The Villa had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Would recommend a car to get around. We enjoyed the tavernas down by Plaka Beach, trips to Náxos town and went into the hills to visit the old town of Halki. Overall a really relaxing holiday.

Beautiful Villa

We loved everything about this villa. The location is perfect, a short walk to the beach and restaurants. A short drive to Naxos Town, or a ride on the bus. I would advise a car so that you can see the sites of Naxos. The private pool and hot tub were used frequently. The beds were comfortable, plenty of water pressure, every amenity was present. From the initial request to stay in the villa until our departure we were in contact with management. They gave us excellent advise on things to see and do. And, also just checked to see if we needed anything. I would stay here again, absolutely.

Highly recommend - we would come back!

We highly recommend staying at Villa Sofia for a number of reasons. Very clean upon arrival and with daily cleaning service, it kept the house looking great the entire time. It was also nice to have a refresh of towels every couple of days. It felt like a hybrid of a VRBO and a hotel. The property manager, Chantelle, was extremely responsive to all of our questions and needs. Anything we required was taken care of right away. The location is wonderful - it’s an 8 minute walk to the start of Plaka Beach. Having seen the other beaches on Naxos, I think this is the nicest and a good combo of restaurants & bars and quiet beach time. We spent a lot of time in the pool which was extremely clean and well maintained. We do recommend renting a car and exploring the island and mountain villages. The town of Filoti was our favourite and the hike to the cave on Mount Zas is well worth it.

Perfect Villa

My family and I recently stayed at this stunning villa in Naxos, and it exceeded all of our expectations. The location is unbeatable—just a 5 minute drive to a crystal blue beach. The villa itself is beautifully designed, blending traditional Cycladic architecture with modern comforts. The interiors are spacious, well-appointed, and filled with natural light. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, though we found ourselves frequently enjoying the local tavernas nearby. What really stood out was the outdoor space. The private pool is perfect for a refreshing dip, and there are plenty of sun loungers and shaded areas to relax in. The host was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. If you’re looking for a luxurious, peaceful retreat by the beach, this villa in Naxos is a fantastic choice. We can’t wait to return!

Perfect Villa in Naxos

We had a fantastic time in this wonderful villa in Naxos. We were travelling as 3 couples and the layout of the villa was just what we were looking for. Each room was on it's own level with private bathroom. The kitchen was large and well equipped and the outdoor space was large, with a great pool that we just loved. The villa was clean and had everything we needed. Chantelle met us when we arrived and was friendly and very helpful. She answered all our questions about the villa and provided information on things to see and do in Naxos. Chantelle was also quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. We couldn't have had a better villa for our time in Naxos. The location of the villa is great if you want to be close to the beaches without the crowds. The only suggestion I would give is to have hair dryers for each of the bedrooms. We asked ahead of time and knew there was only one, so we brought a few from home with a converter (we are from Canada). Thanks to everyone at Villa Sofia for making our vacation in Naxos so relaxing and enjoyable!

Amazing property! Modern, fresh, clean, and high quality. All bedrooms have their own bathrooms which are of high specification. Pool is stunning and bigger than photos would appear. Beautiful views and outdoor dining / living area is nice and shady through the heat of the day. We were looked after wonderfully. Angelos welcomed us warmly and gave us useful recommendations for our stay. A real bonus was very friendly cleaners turning up each day to empty bins etc, not something one normally finds in a rental. Overrall this property is stunning, well placed for getting around, and I can't recommend highly enough.

We just returned from 8 days/nights at Sofias Villa on Plaka Beach. We give our expedience a 10/10. The Villa was so nice, pool, hot tub, communication, location. We loved it. Chantelle was so helpful and very, very communicative. With never being on Naxos before she was so helpful with answering our questions prior to arrival. If we needed anything, she was on it while we were there. Plaka Beach and all the experiences (boat, ATV, Farm to Table) was everything we were looking for. Highly recommend. We hope to be back.

Great accommodation in perfect location

Villa Sofia was perfect for our family stay and I would not hesitate to recommend to others. A well thought out villa in a great location, close to the stunning Plaka beach with easy access to amenities yet peaceful in its agricultural surroundings. The villa had comfortable beds and all the equipment we needed to enjoy our time in Naxos. The check in process included useful tips about how to get the most out of our stay, ranging from day trips around the island to the best restaurants and grocery stores.

Une villa magnifique tout confort

La villa est conforme aux descriptions. Les équipements sont complets. Le confort optimal. Le tout décoré avec soin. La piscine est très agréable. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Les personnes qui se sont occupées de notre accueil sont très disponibles. A noter la proximité avec des chèvres et donc énormément de mouches et l’odeur avec. La maison est entièrement équipées de moustiquaires et ce fut très utile.
