Fred and family were wonderful as guests. Very respectful of the property and very nice people.

I have rented my place for 5 years to at least 10 different families. Never has anyone been so self -entitled or rude.(I have all 5 stars), from the minute they arrived. The male (ALAN) was helpless. I don't watch TV, I told him if he needed to know anything, to call Spectrum, he was perturbed. The next day he called me the light over the sink broke. How did that happen? My handyman told me he broke the fixture trying to change a lightbulb. It cost me $235. When I asked him if he got insurance, he said "they don't offer it in California".Not true, he obviously didn't care. I gave him 4 stars to be nice, I would give them 0 stars. I was on edge the entire time. He asked when the housekeeper would be coming like I should pay. Self-entitled to the max. He was obsessed over light bulbs. They do burn out. Apparently, they saw a few bugs fly out from behind the refigerator. Alan wrote to me that day that I needed to get a professional exterminator. I have seen maybe 4 bugs in my house in 5 years. He is obviously used to being waited on. Before Alan came, he called me, asked why my rates were higher than others. I told him I go by VRBO recommendations.. He hemmed, hawed.I asked him please cancel sooner than later if he wanted out. He begrudgingly said, "no I guess I'll keep it".I should have known then. For years they had a place at The LAKES Chaparral is not as fancy as the LAKES. They were snobby about that from the minute they arrived BEWARE if you rent to these 2 people.
