Beautiful Property and Location!

Great views and location! This property was fantastic for my family and I while we explored Grindelwald. Close to the terminal and a local bus stop so you can get anywhere from here without issue. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great location, beautiful view

Great location! There is a "secret" elevator at the end of the train platform that brings you to a passage underneath the train tracks and back up the other side to a path directly to the apartment. It's about a 3 min walk, which was key with kids and luggage. It was easy to get into the center of town on the train. There is also an outdoor pool nearby, which was only a 10 minute walk. The unobstructed view of the Eiger was beautiful! You will feel like you are in Switzerland here! Our only complaint is that the key is kept at the office in the center of town, so it is a bit of a hassle to pick-up. However, we were able to make special arrangements to drop off the key at the end of our stay because we had an early train to catch.

Beautiful location and spacious apartment

Delightful apartment - plenty of space. And I loved that there are 2 bedrooms downstairs so there is a good separation from the kids. Kitchen is fully equipped - we made pizza one night easily. My favorite part is the view from the huge balcony. Picture sipping coffee / wine while gazing on snow covered mountains, Swiss houses with flower boxes dotting the landscape. Heaven. The house is about a mile out of town, very steep walk. But there is a train station close by, so grab that when you go into town for a pleasant and quick trip. I graded check-in low because we had a very bad time with that. We arrived late, 9pm-ish, and the key was not where it was supposed to be per the check-in email. After several phone calls, the property manager came to the apt to help us and realized that the keys had been taken by another group who thought they had rented the place. So after a few hours we got in. But it a very long day, and that made it longer. The property manager apologized and is commited to putting in a system with a lockbox and code for future guests.
