This was by far the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. Kim thought of absolutely everything. When we visit San Diego again we will definitely be staying here. Kim was an absolutely amazing host.

I love this review!!! Comparisons are truly the most meaningful kinds of reviews. After going on my own vacations at other short term rentals, I have come to realize that guests like to be nice. And they tend to give 5 stars to all kinds of truly mediocre places, so long as the place isn't actually horrible. In my opinion, a 5 star rating doesn't distinguish between "fine" and "exceptional." Comparisons like this tell you more about where it falls between "5-star fine" and "5-star exceptional." Thank you so much for taking the time to post!

Communication with the host was excellent and access was clear and straightforward. There is a creative charm to “Le chateau”. This place was well situated for our stay and visit.

Everything was just as described. We used the hot tub 4 nights of our stay and it was perfect after a long day of sightseeing/walking and never a time with other guests wanting to use at the same time. The apartment had everything you could think of, and it’s only 15-20mins from just about every San Diego thing to do. It was a wonderful stay and we will surely be back!

Thank you so much for mentioning the hot tub! Nobody really ever stays in a hot tub more than 15 to 30 minutes at a time when you really think about it. The reality is, they are a fantastic way to relax and unwind for a bit but you get a big bang for your time, and soon you feel great but you also feel done after a short period of time. Hot tubs just aren't somewhere that you'd go to lounge for hours. So if you ever were to see it in use and wanted it to yourself, just wait like 15 min and come back. Chances are very high it's all yours by then.

Great little place to stay which Kim has clearly taken a lot of time to make feel like home. Makes sucha difference to have an outside area to relax in at night with the fire pit-we loved it

Clean, well apointed, safe, quiet, incredible water pressure, local to a variety of fun things to do. Kim is super communicative, responsive and has filled this property with tons of personal touches. This is our second stay here and it will not be our last!

Very well equipped and great location close to multiple San Diego beaches. 15 minutes to the convention center. Very family friendly with available kids plates, silverware, glasses, stroller, toys, and games. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice long weekend stay

Very cute and comfy little place, well stocked with necessities and everything in good working order. Location was super convenient, close to beach and local attractions. Kim the manager was very attentive and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay.
