CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: AMENITY CLOSINGS EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 27, 2025

SunDestin Beach Resort is currently undergoing exterior construction around the property. The indoor pool, outdoor pool, and on-site restaurant are projected to be closed until the beginning of January 2026.

Please be aware that construction activity may result in noise between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM daily. Our goal is to keep you informed ahead of time so you can make the most of your stay with us.

Parking in the main lot may be limited. Please note that the drive-through area at the main lobby entrance, typically used for loading and unloading luggage, may be temporarily closed. Each one-and two-bedroom condo is allowed one vehicle only. Any additional cars will need to park in the overflow lot across the street.

Right in the heart of the Emerald Coast is SunDestin Beach Resort. This large property boasts many amenities including an indoor and outdoor pool, plus an outdoor hot tub, so you have plenty of options if you want to spend a day off the sand. There’s also an outdoor tiki bar that opens seasonally, and The Sea Store in the lobby where you can pick up souvenirs without ever leaving the resort. The Scenic Stays team is always available at the 24-hour desk.

SunDestin 1402 is a modern one-bedroom condo that’s been renovated from top to bottom. Upon entry, you’ll find the spacious bedroom with a king-sized bed and one full and one-half bath. The entry hall houses a set of twin bunk beds perfect for kids. At the end of the hall, you’ll see the kitchen and living area that overlook the sparkling waters below. The kitchen is fully equipped and offers stainless steel appliances and granite counters to make breakfast, lunch, or dinner. There’s seating for four at the peninsula and a dining nook has seating for two. A large sectional doubles as a queen-sized bed and is a great spot to wind down after a day exploring the Destin area. Put on a DVD- rentals are included in your stay. Through the sliding glass door is the balcony with seating for four to enjoy morning coffee while enjoying the panoramic view of the Gulf of Mexico. This one-bedroom condo sleeps six guests total and is a wonderful escape in Destin.

Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

SunDestin Beach Resort offers many great amenities on-site and is close to all the action in the area. Get in some shopping at Destin Commons just four miles east, then grab dinner at one of the many restaurants at Harborwalk Village four miles west of the resort. SunDestin 1402 is completely upgraded and is sure to become your next home away from home- start planning your trip today!

Great location and staff. Not impressed with condo.

We were notified a couple weeks ago that the condo I booked had to be changed. We were moved into 1110. This condo needs updating and for money spent, we were not happy with it. Door did not shut. Had to remember to push or pull it shut. Screen on patio door torn, outlets were loose, no items like other condos leave ( salt, pepper, coffee filters, etc). Sun Destin staff was amazing and beach location was amazing. Condo, not so much.

Great Condo

The only negative I could say is that the remote for the tv in the bedroom did not control the built in dvd player. The only way to play a video was to push the buttons on the tv itself. Other than that, the condo was very nice. It had everything you needed plus a little more. It was very clean, and it was updated nicely.

Great place to stay, beautiful condo. How ever the kitchen sink was in need of repair if not careful difficult to turn on and off, there were zero towel bars in the bathrooms made for a messy situation with a family, the shower water pressure was almost un useable(This was the biggest issue) the bunk bed tv didnt work. Zero smart TV in unit. Basic cable for a week. I know now im being spoiled but its the basic amenities that you miss when they're gone. Views amazing, beds were comfortable, 9 out of 10. The shower water pressure is a huge issue..

Perfect. Just don't do laundry.

Everything was great about our stay! Room was cute and clean, location was perfection, pools and splash pad were great for the kids. The only downfall was doing laundry. Small washer, dryer, costs 2.50 each but eats most of your quarters. I ended up just bagging our dirties and washing at home.

Great place!

It was our first time in Destin and at Sundestin. We loved the view from the room! The beds were comfy, kitchen was updated and the balcony was spacious. Our only complaint is that the wifi wasnt great. It goes in and out. We would stay there again though!!!

Place was nice, clean and perfect view of beach and ocean. Stools by snack bar were not comfortable but worked for the purpose. Nice bunk beds with tv’s for the kids. I would book this condo again.

Beautiful Destination

We loved our stay in 1402! The view was spectacular with occasional views of dolphins in the mornings right off our balcony. Everything was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable and appliances in great shape! Flooring was beautiful throughout and shower was easy to get in and out of and beautifully updated! My only recommendation would be to add additional blankets under the couch or in the closets as the first few days were very cool while we were there and so were the evenings in December. Lastly, the ceiling fan in the bedroom was not functional either. Overall, a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend!

Wonderful view!

This condo was perfect for what we needed. It was clean and well equipped. The seating in the deck is worn, however, and with a heavy person will likely not hold up. The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The only thing I would say that needs work is that the common areas were in need of a good scrub when we arrived but seemed better a couple days later. We realize it’s hard to keep such a large building always clean. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Some things need some work

The dishwasher was out of order. Not a big deal to have to wash your own dishes really but at least tell someone ahead of time. There was a printed out of order sign on it when we got there so they obviously knew ahead of time. The bar stools you couldn't even sit it because they all slanted downward in front and you are struggling the whole time not to slide off. There was only a small table with two chairs to eat at so the bar stools really need to be replaced so everyone can sit down and eat. The wifi wouldn't even reach the whole condo. The vacuum cleaner barely picked up anything and the knob you wrap the cord around was broke off. The gym downstairs had broken equipment and the washing machine on our floor was out of order. The coin machine downstairs to get the quarters for the washing machine was also out of order. We stayed at Sun Destin 4 years ago and loved it but seems they aren't keeping up with the maintenance maybe? Not sure what happened this year.

All about the beach

This place is great if the beach and location are most important. Didn’t love the pool area or the snack shop and no bar outside-very plain. Our place was decorated nicely which is why we picked it. Balcony was a bit crowded with a big AC unit so we wouldn’t go back as that is where we like to spend time when we aren’t at the beach. We’ve stayed at better places for sure.

Not friendly for smokers

We loved the resort but the area for smokers was the pits. No shelter from the elements. Area looked like mix and match leftovers. Had folding chairs where other areas had nice picnic tables.

Nice condo for small family

We stayed a week with our family (size 5 people). The condo was really clean and had most of the things we needed except a washer/drier. Would recommend to add one as its very inconvenient to go down the hall to wash towels and kids clothes coming from the beach. Everything else was nice. We liked the location and the fact that in the lobby there’s a little convenient store to buy ice, some groceries and kids toys if needed. Overall place is really clean and in a great location.

Clean place but no washer/drier in condo

We spent a week with the family at this condo. The location is great, has a great lobby with a convenient store to buy ice, some groceries, etc. the condo is nicely decorated and very clean. Master bed was really comfortable. Would recommend for 4 people only as it only has 1 1/2 bathroom. The only downside is that there is no washer and drier. You have to use a coin washer/drier down the hall. That’s not convenient. Would recommend adding ones in the condo.

Couch,cookware,toilet

Need a new couch,better cookware and repair on toilet. Also I had no idea there was no washer and dryer in unit. We made do but that needs to be in listing info. All in all it was a nice unit other than these issues.

Great place to stay

Our family had a wonderful vacation. The condo was clean and bright. View of the beach fantastic! The sofa bed is a bit worn but useable. Other than that we had no issues.
