LE SOYEUX The large apartment was warm and quiet. The bedrooms are right on the street but it was not a thru street while we were there. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, many details to our taste. It is midway up to the Croix-Rousse plateau so there is a bit of climbing to do errands, but it’s a terrific neighborhood. Note: there is almost no sound separation between the two bedrooms as one is on top of the other with a mezzanine floor in between. The agency took very good care and was very responsive.

Appalling Property

Could not stay here ...had to book into hotel. Not fit for human habitation.Awful smell if sewage downstairs. Hazardous steep dark unlit stairs tili mezzanine. Broken patio doors. "garden area" filthy and broken down. .with signs of snsmek faeces.

LE SOYEUX "Arrivés après 22h, vous avons dû payer un supplément de 30€ pour un accueil physique (non mentionné dans l’annonce). La personne était agréable mais nous a simplement donné des codes et précisé que nous devions remettre les clés dans une boîte à clé. Aucune justification aux 30€. Le logement était atypique, tout était à disposition. Et la localisation était top. En revanche, la présence d’odeur d’égouts dans la salle de bain du bas, à côté du lit, était très désagréable. Surtout, alors que l’annonce affichait deux salles de bain, seule une sur les deux était utilisable, en raison d’une énorme fuite de la douche à l’étage (l’eau s’écoulait à travers le plancher du haut pour finir sur le sol du rdc…). Nous étions quatre et avons dû se satisfaire d’une seule douche durant notre séjour, en dépit de attentes dont le logement semblait (fallacieusement) remplir. Bref, lieu atypique mais décevant. Nous ne recommandons pas"
