Les Landes gite 'Sol' workshops

After running a design and photography studio in the Netherlands for 20 years, Pauline Janmaat and Maarten Verheijen restored and converted this former vineyard farmhouse into a vacation and creative retreat.

They thus traded the stress of a hectic city life for the calm and soothing surroundings of the French countryside. The property they chose, “Ateliers Les Landes,” set on 1 hectare of land, offers a panoramic view of the fields and vineyards.

The property features three vacation rentals, all three renovated and decorated in keeping with the original architecture: the Bacchus Rental, the Uranus Rental, and the Sol Rental, plus a guest room called Venus. A beautiful, large swimming pool (6 x 14 m) is available for you to cool off on hot, sunny days.

Lovely stay at a peaceful home

Nice gite in a larger house with shared common spaces. Excellent kitchen and lots of space for a family to spread out. Beautiful setting in the vineyards and the kids loved the pool. Pauline was also kind about my forgetting to notify her when I left (I was on my own at that point and getting my 2 teens out on time was stressful!).

Propriété de charme

Nous avons tout particulièrement apprécié le confort, le calme, la situation géographique, l'accueil très chaleureux et la disponibilité des propriétaires qui parlent très bien le français (en plus de l'anglais et du néerlandais). Le gîte est très bien équipé, décoré avec beaucoup de goût et idéalement bien située pour découvrir cette belle région. Ne changez rien !! Nous reviendrons, Merci
