Fantastic apartment!

The apartment was just as appeared in the photos. It was very clean. It is in a great location. There bakeries, a market, and excellent restaurants all just a five to ten minute walk from the apartment. Maeva is very responsive and was extremely helpful in recommending local restaurants, markets, etc. She even let us check in early. We are a family of five and had a great vacation with this apartment as our home base.

Damaged and dirty flat with VERY outdated photos

The photos and description of this flat were dated at best. Unfortunately they were from a much better time of this flats existence. To start, the flat has been both renovated and painted since the photos were taken, and this wasn’t done recently. Really, the only positive about this flat was the view. The flat sustained water damage months prior to our arrival. In a WhatsApp message the host confirmed that the water damage occurred nearly 1 year ago in September. The host did not acknowledge or share this damage until the morning of our check in, citing that the insurance company had backed out of completing the repair. A repair that was allegedly supposed to be completed in July. We booked this flat May 1st, far before the work was supposed to be started, allegedly. The ceilings were literally falling down while we stayed there. My daughter’s suitcase had chunks of paint and drywall in it from the ceiling. The host provided each guest with one musty-smelling towel for a week’s stay. There were no cleaning agents(empty dish soap, dirty sponge, no dish tabs, laundry soap), no waste bin liners, about 1/4 roll of toilet tissue and most of the dishes were dirty with what looked like dried scrambled egg. The baseboards were pulled away. Many of the doors were missing the latch, so the only way to keep them closed was to lock them. The locks were not maintained so my family would get locked in rooms regularly. There was no guest packet with local info or WIFI info. Disappointed.

Lyon est une ville incroyable et l appartement possède une vue de toute beauté sur le Rhône. Etre dans les pentes eqt hélas un peu difficile lorsque l on a une poussette avec les jumeaux ça grimpe vraiment fort!

Une vue magnifique sur Lyon

Très bon séjour à 4 en famille dans un appartement lumineux baigné de soleil dès le matin très belle vue panoramique du 4ème Petit balcon sympa pour prendre son 1er cafe .. Au calme , literie confortable , douche plaisante cuisine très bien équipée , à proximité de la place de La Croix rousse avec ses nombreux commerces grande disponibilité de la propriétaire qui nous a donné d’excellents conseils
