Florida Waterfront Country Home, Fishing & Pet Friendly

Enjoy a cozy waterfront cottage nestled in the backwoods of Madison County Florida, one of the most beautiful and peaceful areas in North Florida! If you are adventurous this is the place for you! This small country home has one large bedroom with a new queen size memory foam mattress (sleeps 2) a futon (sleeps 2 children) and a 32" TV with ROKU and DVD player for movies. A large equipt kitchen and bathroom with bathtub/shower. The Living-room has a futon (sleeps one or two). For an extra guest there is an air mattress. There is Internet/Wifi (the password is posted on the fridge) and a 50" TV with ROKU and DVD player with movies or rent movies from the Redbox just down the road in front of the Dollar General Store. The beautiful stone fireplace is decorative only! The property is on 2 acres of nature and wildlife with a canopy of trees and beautiful sunsets on the water! Watch for the deer, turkeys and huge owls that come by! This is the perfect place for a truly relaxing vacation getting back to basics to enjoy the beauty of nature and outdoor fun! Board games and cards are provided for family fun! There is a canoe, life jackets and Fishing poles are in the well house for some good bass fishing or sit on the dock to soak up some Florida sun! This is private property and you do not need a fishing license to fish here! You may also set up tents for a great camping experience! Roast marshmallows by the rustic fire pit or sit on the back deck where smoking is permitted and outdoor chairs are provided! A charcoal grill is provided for your cooking out pleasure, need to supply your own charcoal. Phlox Pond may be rented for events such as weddings for an additional charge. Guest would be responsible for property clean up as well as any property damage. Message owner for details. Be sure to visit the many beautiful parks and natural springs as well as the famous Suwanee River Music Park located in Live Oak. Wild Adventures Amusement Park is nearby and plenty of restaurants and shopping in Valdosta Georgia just 30 minutes away! Dollar General is one mile and Winn Dixie is in town about 10 miles! You are sure to enjoy the southern charm of Madison County and the small town of Pinetta! This home is in the middle of the woods and the lightening bugs are really cool. We know you will enjoy this country getaway!

If you are looking for a good church during your visit, Pinetta United Methodist Church is just 5 minuets down the road on the corner at Colin Kelly Hwy. We did have a Cat 3 hurricane come through last fall and Madison is still cleaning up the down trees. Thankfully plenty of firewood for the firepit!
