Oceanfront 3 BR Condo - Wraparound Deck - Salty Sands I

If you are looking for a comfortable, casual, and clean place for your family to enjoy, please take a look! If you are looking for a glitzy, high rise condominium this might not be the place for you–however if a well maintained and decorated, very large, direct oceanfront, family-friendly place is appealing, this should more than suit your needs!

We are the end unit on the first floor of a five-story condo in mid-town Ocean City, Maryland. There is a sizable oceanfront wraparound deck with chaise lounges and other seating provided with wonderful views of the beach and the ocean.

The mid-town location gives you easy access to all restaurants, the boardwalk, amusement parks, Convention Center, and plenty of tennis, golf, and tons of water activities within easy reach–lots in walking distance.

We provide high speed Wi-Fi for your use. We have a big screen, flat-panel Smart HDTV (Netflix streaming, etc.) in the living room and flat-panel TVs in each of the bedrooms, all equipped with Comcast/xfinity cable.

There is a nice dining area within the open living room area with additional seating around the breakfast bar, so plenty of room for all to gather around to enjoy meals together. Our kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, dishes, glassware, cutlery, coffee maker, and toaster.

Don't want to bring linens, bath towels, or beach towels? No worries–we have plenty of them available for your use at no additional charge.

We have two assigned parking spots with one being the best location in the building (leave your beach "stuff" in trunk and grab as needed). There are just a few steps up from your car to the first level so no need for the elevator or significant stair climbing if you are able. There is an elevator from the garage for those unable to walk the steps. (Please note: the parking lots and garages are being worked on Fall 2023 through Spring 2023. Through the end of May 2023, there will be no assigned parking at the building; guests will need to find parking on 46th or 45th street.)

A very nice guarded (in season) beach just a few steps from the front door (no streets to cross) plus there is an outdoor shower.

When requesting to book, please let us know a little about who you're traveling with and the purpose of your stay. If you have any questions, please feel free to send us a message.

We rent only to families--minimum rental age is 25. (Sorry, we do not make exceptions for senior week guests or other groups.)

Weekly rentals only in June, July, and August.

OCMD Vacation 2024

Memorial Day Weekend!

Perfect Getaway

Great location; everywhere you want to go is within walking distance. The beach is steps away. Restaurants and activities are all close by. The condo has a fully stocked kitchen, the linens and towels are all provided. You really only need to bring your suitcase. It is the perfect place for a getaway.

Beachfront family getaway

The owners could not make this place more perfect in terms of every Beach need that a four generation family could have -beach chairs and sand toys for the kids and grown-ups, a boogie board, great, cooking utensils, and games have the most delightful breeze coming through the wraparound beech front porch. The owner was responsive when we had an issue with a smoke detector and promptly had a repair man in.

The Best Week of the Year!!!

The location of this property couldn't be more perfect, midtown, ocean front with views of both the ocean and the bay. The breeze on the wrap around balconies is so refreshing, especially at the end of the day. Early every day we'd mark our spot on the beach as it is only a short walk to the ocean's edge. The condo itself is spacious and full of interesting and fun art/artifacts. I was thrilled to arrive without having to go to a property management co. for the keys. We were sent a message when the property was available, and accessed the condo via a key box on the door handle. I have rented condo's for more than 2 decades, and never once did I arrive to all the beds being already made, until this rental. Clean bath and beach towels were plentiful, so nice!! TVs and fans (both ceiling and self standing) were in each room. There were even multiple games for the family to play. We loved this place and will want to rent it again next year if available. Did I say the weather was perfect? It was! If you're looking for a place with posh amenities, spectacular bathrooms, and the most modern appliances, then this is not for you, BUT if you are looking for a home away from home, comfort, peace, and family oriented, this is the place to rent.

Wonderful family vacation

Perfect fir Family Getaways

We stayed at Kelly's condo. From the monent we walked it, we knew we had selected the perfect condo for our week at Ocean City. From the beds being made with fresh lines, the extra bath and beac towels for our use, to the boogie boards for the kids and yhegify basket we we walked it, everything was perfect. Will definitely be back as long as our dates are free.

Family vacation

This is our second year staying in OCMD but first time here. This condo was a great find! Exactly as described on VRBO. Location, location, location. Very spacious and comfortable. Loved watching dolphins from the bedroom or living area and the sun rises were amazing. The owner was very easy to communicate with and we plan to try and book again next year!

Wonder Stay for Multi-Generation Family

We had 3 generations of our family stay for a week, and were very happy with the property. Kelly was very easy to communicate with and made sure all of our questions were answered. The set up was perfect for our family. The walk to the beach was nice and easy for my parents, We enjoyed long days on the beach, and the short walk made it easy for my young children to be able to go back to the condo to use the bathroom. We love the wrap around balcony and the cool breeze it provided at night. We already plan to rerun next year.

Spacious Condo

Lots of room for 10 people, great view of the ocean. You walk in and you are home, beds made, towels for everyone, snacks on the counter....We loved it, just was sad our family members that were going to join us we unable to make it. Just the two of us.
