I’ve stayed in Medicine several times as my kids were married there last year. Several trips down and multiple different places to stay for the weekend. This is the first time I’ve had to spend over a 1000 for 2 nights in ML. Any other trip I’ve never spent more than 250 (2bdr) or 300 (3bdr.) This was a complete rip-off for this 2 bedroom for two nights. I’ve never had to pay this much. Other locations I’ve always felt very safe coming back at night and this was not the case here. As a single woman I want to be secure in my surroundings. Coming back the first night I found a man walking slowly next to the building (right by my entrance) as I exited my vehicle and started towards the door he looked back at me 3 times. I was scared and desperately trying to put my code in. Extremely uneasy feeling. The second night I arrived home to find 3 men walking down the side of the building toward me. I hated it. Both nights I arrived home between midnight and 12:30 am. To be completely overcharged, feel unsafe, rush inside to make sure the blinds are as tight as they can be and not sleep a wink… completely not worth it. There are other places in better locations that won’t completely take advantage of you.

We’re sorry to hear that your stay didn’t meet your expectations. We understand that feeling safe and comfortable is important, especially when traveling alone. We do want to clarify that this is an incredibly safe neighborhood, and we have never had concerns with the surrounding area. The rates for your stay reflected the increased demand in town due to the Peace Treaty event, along with the very limited availability of accommodations during that weekend. Pricing was based on the event and the high demand, not an attempt to take advantage of guests. The men you encountered were likely other visitors in town attending the same event, as the area had an increased number of people coming into town that weekend. While we understand that encountering unfamiliar people late at night can feel uncomfortable, their presence alone does not indicate that the area was unsafe. We appreciate your feedback and are sorry that your experience left you feeling uneasy. We strive to provide a comfortable, safe, and welcoming place for our guests.

Nice place

In such a small town it was nice to find a comfortable and affordable place to stay. The family was taking turns coming to visit a sick relatives and this was just right! Would stay there again.
