In a paradise for nature activities, cycling, hiking, enjoy this tastefully renovated barn in a quiet hamlet including a private garden with barbecue.
On the edge of the wild river Rhône, recharge your batteries in the land of Brillat Savarin, homeland of the bons-vivants.
Not to be missed in the village: our 2 wine cellars AOP Bugey, many swimming and angling spots in lakes and rivers around.

- Aquapark of Lake Massignieu (Ecoinçon).
- Camino de Santiago (Geneva – Le Puy en Velay) and many marked hiking trails (GR).
- Protected cycle path Via Rhôna (Geneva – Marseille).

Eléonore und ihr Mann waren wunderbare Gastgeber. Wir konnten uns sehr gut in Englisch und Deutsch verständigen. Wir haben tolle Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt erhalten. Die Wohnung liegt in einem alten Bauernhaus und ist sehr urig eingerichtet. Es war alles da, was man benötigt. Die Gegend war toll. Der Lac du Bourget mit den umliegenden Bergen und der Grand Columbier sind wunderschön.

Un gîte confortable, à proximité des lieux d’intérêt. La plage de Conjux n’est qu’à 15 min ! Le petit déjeuner à l’extérieur était vraiment appréciable. Merci pour le cadeau de bienvenue : la tartinade. Elle était délicieuse !

Good with several caveats

The hosts were incredibly considerate throughout our stay, even offering to cook for us after we arrived late to check in on our first day and offered us several spoils from their garden.However, communication between the host and myself was lacking previous to our arrival. We were unaware that we had to bring our own sheets and towels which we had assumed would be readily available. Although once again they were very accommodating and this was provided at no extra cost.I also feel their listing was misleading. WiFi was not available in the house were staying in, instead you had to stand in the garden a short walk past there house to catch even the most tenuous of connections. This would have been fine if the house had not be advertised with WiFi. They also stated a washing machine as one of the amenities but do not mention anywhere that not only were these appliances tucked away in a garage, they could also only be used at a fee of 10 euros. While this is not a substantial price it was an unpleasant surprise upon my arrival that I would have preferred to be aware of before hand.So while the house was very sweet and our hosts very kind, I wouldn't say our stay was five stars, nor particularly comfortable.

Nous avons aimé l'accueil chaleureux de nos hôtes. Une place plus confortable pour s'asseoir dans la pièce centrale serait appréciée (divan). Le réseau wifi n' était pas facilement accessible sans carte SIM. Le reste des commodités ( appareils électroménagers, salle de bain, vaisselle, lits confortables ,etc..) furent très apprécié.

Sehr schöne Woche in Rives

Wir haben hier eine sehr schöne Woche verbracht bei sehr angenehmen, hilfsbereiten Gastgebern. Wir werden gerne nochmal kommen. Man kann schöne Wanderungen unternehmen, an den Lac de Bourget gehen oder in die Berge.Vielen Dank an Eleonore und ihren Mann.

La région est sympathique le gîte annoncé avec deux chambres n'en a qu'une La seconde est en fait une pièce intermédiaire d'accès à la salle de bain et toilettes et à la chambre l'espace extérieur est situé à plus de 40 mètre le bas est sombre .... Grange rénovée

Les propriétaires sont très accueillants, et nous ont offert des tomates pendant notre séjour. Le logement est au calme. Il fait très chaud dans la 1ere chambre en période de canicule malheureusement . Par contre, le logement est inadapté avec des enfants en bas âge, escalier non sécurisé, pas de barrière en haut des escaliers, et garde corps non adapté, nous avons dû sécuriser avec le lit pliant, des tendeurs et des coussins pour éviter à notre petit fils de 15 mois de chuter. Nous avons passé un séjour agréable dans cette grange rénovée. L'accueil de la propriétaire a été très sympathique. Les propriétaires ont été très attentionnés et serviables.

Les hôtes sont charmants et proposent beaucoup de choses à faire dans les environs. Le gîte est agréables et la chambre très spacieuse. Le hameau est calme et paisible. Bien équipé. Nous étions 5 (2 adultes et 3 enfants) et tout s'est très bien passé. Merci !

Séjour au calme

Nous avons passé un séjour dans un logement très au calme. La maison est agréable quand il fait chaud car elle conserve la fraîcheur. Notre séjour a été très reposant dans cette région magnifique où les gens sont très sympatiques et chaleureux.
