Two bedroom older home nestled in a quiet relaxing area, home is very clean & updated with all needed amenities for a short or long term stay. Easy access to I-55 and I-220. Close to UMMC, Baptist, St. Dominic, local colleges as well as downtown Jackson. Large deck overlooks tree lined back yard where you can sit & drink your morning coffee or have a drink, ice tea, of course, to unwind. You are close to multiple excellent restaurants, museums and parks in the metro area. Enjoy your stay!
Security There are 3 cameras on the property. One in the back of the house which has a view of the back door. There is a camera pointing to the driveway and part of the sidewalk. Lastly there is a doorbell camera. There are no cameras on the interior of the home.
The space You will sleep sound on the 12" green tea foam mattress (king in the master and queen in the 2nd bedroom). Large closets with plenty of storage in each bedroom as well as a laundry basket for your use. A ceiling fan is in each bedroom.
The kitchen is completely stocked with a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, oven/stove, and dual sink. All cookware, dishes, silverware, utensils, and paper products are included as well as a coffee pot, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, mugs, sugar, non-sugar sweetner and creamer.
The bathroom includes large luxury towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Please only flush toilet paper in the toilet - no wipes flushable or otherwise. The pipes cannot tolerate flushable wipes. It will result in a plumber coming to the property with the guest being billed.
This is an older home so expect some character (scratches) on the older countertops and wood floors.
You will need a vehicle to get around this area. You will love that the location is accessible to major roads and streets. I-55 is just a few minutes away. Head north on I-55 and you can travel to Interstate 220 which connects to US 49 that travels to Yazoo city or continue on I-220 to Clinton or Vicksburg. Head South on I-55 to go to downtown Jackson and you connect to I-20 East or West as well as US 49 South to Hattiesburg. These major roads, within minutes, will give you access to major Shopping, Restaurants, Banks, Businesses, Museums, Colleges, Universities, Hospitals, and Downtown Jackson.
Guest access Guest will have the entire place to themselves, other than a few closet areas.
Other things to note This is a pet friendly home with a max of 2 pets. We do ask that you disclose the type of pets you are bringing. A pet fee of $75 is charged to take care of extra cleaning for 1 pet. An additional incremental $30 fee is assessed for an additional pet. More fur babies = more fur to cleanup.
This is a smoke free home.
We strictly enforce a no party or social gathering policy. All occupants staying in the home must be included in the reservation request.
Parham Bridges Walking Trail is just around the corner and is a great location to get some fresh air walking or jogging. The Park also has tennis courts available for use as well as a tennis pro shop.
Shopping at Highland Village is a couple of miles north of the house where you will find Whole Foods, eclectic boutiques and local eateries. Highland Village bring Jackson’s soul and southern charm together in one lovely, lively spot.

Visited for local wedding. Property is very well maintained in a nice neighborhood. Close to major shopping venues, not far from downtown Jackson. Highly recommend.
We had a great stay here. We were traveling with small children and our dog to visit family in the area. This property had everything we needed and is located such a great location with most anything you might want or need. We didn't have any issues during our stay and the host did a great job communicating with us regarding check-in/out etc. We would recommend this place and would happily stay again.
The place was exactly as advertised and was clean and cozy. Everything we needed was provided and my favorite thing was an ice cold air conditioner. Beds were comfortable and the host was very helpful when we needed to stay an extra night.
Good location close to downtown. Nice amenities! Internet, alarm system, private parking and fenced backyard. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again!
Property is good for the price but needs some updates.
Overall a good rental for the price.

We are constantly updating our property for both suggestions we received from our guest as well as things we have planned. We ask each and every one of our guests for suggestions regarding things they see we need to provide or update. I just wish Nate had also made his specific suggestions for updates to me during out messages so we could add his suggestions to our "to do" list.
The home was lovely and provided all of the comforts we needed. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen well appointed. The fenced back yard was big enough for my dogs to have plenty of room to run a bit and explore a lot. The only negative about this stay is unrelated to the home, but related to citizens of the area - the fireworks (July 4th) went on and on - ridiculously late, and early in the morning. Aside from that, this is a great place to stay.

Our family enjoyed our stay. Location was in a super quiet neighborhood. Everything we needed was close by within 5 min drive - Whole Foods, post office, library. Lynda was a great host and communicated everything clearly. We’d definitely recommend this place. Clean and beautiful home, perfect for a long stay.

Great neighborhood in a safe area with lots of handy places nearby! The master bed has the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. House is adorable, well stocked and very comfortable. Great communication with Lynda.
