Come stay directly on the beautiful beaches of the Chesapeake Bay.

We have just completed "freshening up" this roomy 3 bedroom 2 bath home. This home is half of a duplex and the other side will be rented to guests as well. The home has a front porch with a view of the bay and a fantastic view from the Master Bedroom. We have a large 70" Smart TV in the upstairs living area and a 55" Smart TV downstairs. We also have High Speed WiFi for your streaming entertainment. We offer Central Heat/AC for you comfort no matter the time of year. Off street parking is available in our driveway. Our kitchen is fully stocked for those wishing to stay in and prepare your own meals. We have a gas fireplace for those romantic evenings after a full day at the beach.

We are beach front, with a walk of about 50 feet to get across the sandy dunes. This property is #2 of a side by side duplex. Nothing is shared with the next door property except for the beach, front door entryway and large back deck. There are two new decks, one on the front of the home and one on the back. The downstairs "master bedroom" is very large and includes two Queen Size beds. The upstairs bedroom with a fabulous view of the beach and bay has a King Size bed, while the 3rd bedroom also has a King Size Bed.
But best of all the is the secluded neighborhood and the beautiful Chesapeake Bay Beaches, right out your door.

We also have off street parking in our driveway as well as a back deck and a charcoal grill for cooking out.

Even with a thorough modernization the property is a historical home that is now over 108 years old. It has some eccentricities that reflect building standards and designs from the turn of the last century that lends to its charm as an older beach cottage. But even so, we hope that you will love our older and charming home.

** PLEASE PAY ATTENTION - this unit is for family units ONLY! No Parties are allowed or tolerated. We live nearby to this unit and will immediately cancel and evict anything resembling a party - No "Get Togethers" - No "Inviting a few friends" - No "Cookouts" - No "friends stopping by for a visit" - No "Wakes" - No "Funerals" - No "Birthday Parties"!!!! All cancellations like this will include forfeiture of all payments and security deposits - NO EXCEPTIONS! **

Please understand that once a reservation has been made, we do not revisit/refund if you have reduced the number of guests or have chosen to not travel with your pet. Quiet hours begin at 9 PM.

This is a Family/Residential unit and area. No loud music or noise.

We love when VRBO hosts know how dogs can be an important part of the family! This was a very cute beach house that would suit a large family well. We enjoyed the beach access and the proximity to all that Norfolk has to offer. The host provided clear instructions for arrival and departure and the house included all that we needed for a weekend getaway.

Cozy and lovely

We had a wonderful time here. Easy booking and check in. Host was very responsive. Got everything needed from kitchen, bedroom and bbq grill.The beach was lovely too, not crowded with beautiful sunset. Over all it was a great weekend stay for all of us.

Great spot

We had a great time. The house needs a little cosmetic things done to the outside but the inside was beautiful. It is right on the beach and our kids loved going out to play in the sand.

Nice stay

We enjoyed staying at the property. We have a large family and had room for all. We enjoyed the beach. The beds were comfortable, especially the king bed with the ocean view. The house is old which adds to the charm, but I came during excessive heat outside, so it never got “cold cold” on the hundred degree days. If you’re sensitive to heat and want to stay, I would say bring a fan, but there were ceiling fans in most rooms and they were very much enjoyed. The beach is pretty close to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel so the waves weren’t particularly big, but it was pleasant. overall good value.

It is perfect, quite area for you and your family. Nobody sees anything about dogs on the Beach and plus maybe 75 steps to the beach. Been here before and will keep going back

Regular tenants dog. Braked every time. We went in or out front door. Seperated entrance instead of joint is a suggestion also clear marked parking would be also better we had two cars and so did that a few more pots and pans. Smaller coffee cups. Provide a few towels better tv with local channels. All in all a good stay

Don't judge a book by its cover. The outside leaves little to be desired. Inside was very cute but older home. Heater took several hours to get from 60-65 degrees. Beds were very comfortable. Basic upkeep needed. Blinds were broken off, can't close drapes in the downstairs bedroom, bathroom fan damaged by mildew, and kitchen pots are scraped beyond the Teflon. For the price we paid, they can afford a 100 set of pans every year.It's nice to be near the beach, but it's not one you would go swimming in. The house host was very quick to respond and very nice, but for us I wish we would have done 3 separate hotel rooms.

Great location rundown property

First the positive Located mere steps from a nice beach The property manager answered questions quickly Now some of the negative Poor property maintenance- None of the doors closed easily The two restroom doors did not close at all One hand towel to share between the restrooms One bathtub had no plug Out dated fixtures in all rooms. Switch plates fell off when turning on a light Cold water handle fell off in downstairs restroom Sleeps 8 but Limited parking available. Some deficiencies can be overlooked but the sheer number of issues weighed heavily on our experience We paid a premium amount for three days including rental charge, pet fees, and cleaning fees. We expected a better experience with the physical condition of the property.

Nice visit

We only stayed for one night so extra fees for pet, cleaning and late checkout made it an expensive for one night. However, it was a nice get away to visit my son who attends ODU for his Birthday. The house is definitely dated but I expected that. It was clean and the owner was responsive.

Wonderful stay in Ocean View

Our family spent Thanksgiving together at Chesapeake Bay Manor II and had a wonderful time. The property is even better than the pictures show with tons of space for all of us and our Thanksgiving dinner. The beach was beautiful and provided great entertainment for our 4 year old grandson! Easy check in and great communication. Looking forward to staying again!

Great place for a family get away!

Love the setup in the house, perfect for a family. We fit five small kids and two adults in there very comfortably. Great location!

House by the beach

The outside seems to be under repair but the inside is fine and spacious. Short walk to the beach. Location is conveint about 10-15 minutes away from shops.
