Disfrutar de la belleza natural y la serenidad de la costa de madera roja en su propia estancia privada! Ideal para 2 parejas o una familia con niños; un gran estudio abierto con chimenea de madera y cama king size, dormitorio separado con cama de matrimonio y la reina.

No en la ciudad, pero en la avenida escénica de los Gigantes, Pepperwood. Un centro fácil para visitar los destinos turísticos de la Costa de Redwood. Sal por la puerta y ya estás en Redwood State Park en un bosque de madera roja antigua superlativa! Recoger y comer directamente desde el jardín en nuestro hortalizas y flores de jardín comercial orgánica en temporada. Está tan bonito aquí se puede simplemente quieren permanecer en!

Wonderful, incredible place to get away from it all. The Eel River and several hiking trails are within walking distance. We picked fresh fruits and vegetables daily and truly enjoyed being able to disconnect from the rest of the world in order to connect with each other.

I loved my stay at Holly and Mel's place. It was very clean and well stocked. The location is at the north end of the Avenue of the Giants and close to several trails. It is very quiet and relaxing with a nice deck where you can sit and enjoy the nature around you. It is on a vegetable and flower farm which adds to the beauty. The hosts live on the farm and it is easy to communicate with them. I recommend this cute little cottage.

Lovely place right on Ave. of the Giants. Host was great. Place is quiet and beautiful. There are loop trails only a quarter of a mile away. I would highly recommend to everyone. My wife and I loved it here.

Host was very friendly and helpful. Although we only stayed one night, we had a full day of activities that accommodated both the young and old in our family. Holly (the host) suggested a walking trail through the redwoods that was amazing. Watching the stars from the hot tub was fantastic. The blackberry popsicle was a great going away treat. Will return next year.

Great place to unplug! Adorable, comfortable farm cottage. Well stocked kitchen. Tons of firewood and yard games. Very clean! The hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

This place was absolutely perfect! Cozy, beautifully decorated with a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Our kids enjoyed the hammock, makeshift ping pong table and waving hello to the sheep! Mel and Holly are incredibly nice and gave us great hiking and state park recommendations. This location is prime, as it puts you right in the middle of the redwoods on the north end of the Avenue of Giants. The Drury Cheney trail is within walking distance from the cottage and is a MUST! You can also walk to the Eel River and enjoy the valley views from the cottage. The hot tub is great after a long day of exploring and the beds are super comfortable. I didn't want to leave!

So much more beautiful than the pictures could ever depict. It is difficult to describe the combination serenity and intense beauty of being surrounded by both redwoods and flowers in the middle of their bloom. Getting to enjoy the organic produce was a wonderful benefit, which enabled us to stay on the property and surrounding hiking trails for most of our stay rather than needing to go on market runs. Such a lovely opportunity to slow down and enjoy the pace of nature and be grateful to those who grow our food. Our parents also enjoyed sharing in exploring the forest and admiring the bountiful farm. Our toddler loved running around in the open areas, exploring nature, and getting to pet the sweet doggie. We loved being able to let her have that freedom in a safe and contained space, which, coming from a busy city environment is something she doesn't get enough of. All in all it was a wonderful experience for our multi-generational family group! We hope to return!

We greatly enjoyed the quiet of the area and its proximity to great hiking trails. The host welcomed us with beautiful bouquets of flowers throughout the cottage and the yard had plenty of room for our pup to chase tennis balls.

Best vacation rental ever!

Hollis is a fantastic host and the property is amazing - several acres of veggies and if you're staying there you can pick your own dinner. Definitely would make this a destination stop!

Perfect Location

What a great place! Within walking distance of a beautiful trail and easy driving to other nearby attractions. Holly and Mel were very gracious hosts. I would highly recommend this special place if you’re looking to be in the heart of the redwoods!

We loved this spot. Quiet, secluded, and surrounded by redwoods Walking distance or short drive to state park trails. Or plenty to do right on the property. Would definitely return. Hosts were great.

We really enjoyed the lovely house on a working farm. The house was clean and comfortable. It has high wood ceilings and everything we needed. We spent a lot of time outside on the deck taking in nature and the farm. The hosts are on site and very kind and helpful.

Beautiful, quiet place close to the giant redwoods

The place was wonderful, quiet, and beautiful. We had a group of 5 and there was plenty of sleeping space for everybody. Lots of outdoor games set up around the yard and the gorgeous garden and free produce were a huge plus. The hot tub was a nice perk too. Would definitely stay again.

Home is exactly in the heart of the giants. A must for those looking to visit nature in the raw. The hot tub was wonderful, very clean and well kept. The house is cozy, there is no WiFi, and limited service. But it made up for it with the amenities. This place is for those looking to get away from the city and enjoy some hot coco, grilled or oven cooked food and good times with friends and family. The host are wonderful, we can’t wait to return.

We had a great time in the Redwoods. And the location of this property if perfect in Pepperwood. The Drury Cheney Trail is a must, 3 minutes from the house. No tv, totally unplugged from usual life for 4 days. The produce stand the owners have is outstanding! And it provided dinner for us two nights. The house had everything we needed. You won’t be disappointed.

Mel and Holly Kreb have lived on this little piece of paradise for over thirty years. Mel grew up on a family dairy farm in Iowa which explains the onsite two acre veggie garden. Holly's background is in art and design, evident in the place's warm welcoming decor.
Both of their grown kids remain committed to organic agriculture, personally and professionally.
