Great get away

Rooms were clean, the resort is great for a family as it has shopping, restaurants, ice cream shops and water activities all on the resort. Great service and communication from the listing property manager

Great Space for Family

Everything was easy and as advertised. We had a wonderful week. On site parking was a little pricey, but we found more reasonable public parking nearby. Kevin was great. He was clear and responsive to our questions. The staff at the Hilton were also accommodating to whatever we needed. We highly recommend this rental.

Hilton Hawaiian Village (Lagoon Tower)

First the positives: It's a great location if you have young children because the property has multiple pools, a lagoon, and the beach all within a 5 minute walk. Plenty of food options and activities are available as well. Now the negatives: Check-in is a disaster due to the time it takes each desk agent to complete the process. It took my guest agent 20 minutes to check us in for whatever reason. Next, We had a 2 bedroom suite of which one bedroom has a King bed and the other you can request a King or 2 doubles. I called two weeks in advance to request the 2 doubles and surprisingly enough, they didn't have that available during check in. We had to squeeze 4 people on a King bed for the entire time. Thirdly and possibly the worst of all the items, is that we stayed for 7 nights and their policy states that they will only clean the room once during that time frame and they determine what day that would be. With two kids and the beach, our room was a sand pit for a majority of the time even with all the extra care we would take to make sure the kids were scrubbed down before they came into the room. The rooms are very dated and the carpet and cloth furniture have plenty of stains to amplify that. Lastly, the elevators during the check-in/check-out time are RIDICULOUS. We waited 35 minutes for an elevator on the day of checkout because there are only three elevators that are shared by guests and the cleaning staff. They make sure the cleaning staff is waiting outside your room door at 10 AM so this creates a jam at the elevators every Saturday. A couple of smaller things, regarding the property. Even as a hotel guest, you have to pay for beach chairs and an umbrella which will cost you $68 per day for one chair and one umbrella. Regarding the restaurants on the property, they have so many options but it's very basic food for the amount they charge. I would suggest leaving the property as much as possible for a nice dining experience. Everything said, I will not ever stay there again, and will never recommend someone to stay there either.

Everything was great except for house keeping. We were there for 8 nights and only had house keeping once that we had to request several times. We did ask to get house keeping thru again as needed clean towels and were there for over a week but unfortunately didn’t happen. Pretty poor considering we were paying good money for that accommodation.

Suite 2060 Lagoon Tower

Check in great and super friendly. We arrived 11am and our suite was ready. Loved the location and floor plan of the suite! We were able to watch the Hilton’s Luau nightly. It was a little less crowded during the week vs the weekend! The shopping center and eateries were packed. The only two Elevators take forever, especially during check in and check out. I heard wait times of up to 45 minutes! I know we waited at least 20 minutes several times. Room, well they definitely dropped the ball here. Yes it was cleaned, buuuuttt there were finger grudges on every door from at least months of no cleaning . The small bedroom with the twin beds, had one sheet stained with urine! When requesting extra supplies for the room they seem to be very stingy! We often had to ask multiple times to get what we actually asked for and not just sheets. However, everyone was really friendly and accommodating. We celebrated our senior and had a trip of a life time!!! If you prefer less crowds, go hang lose @ NorthShore - Mahalo đŸ€™đŸœ
