Stay in one evening and make a feast for your small group or walk to one of the restaurants located less than a block away. THINGS TO KNOW
The Retreat community pool is open seasonally and is generally closed from October - April.
Smoking is strictly prohibited on-site.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Long weekend

My family stayed for a long weekend and this condo was perfect for us. We were provided plenty of towels and starter items (toilet paper, dishwasher packs, hand soap). Condo was clean upon arrival. Short walk to the beach and restaurants nearby. Things to note: there is no elevator, so you have to carry items up two flights of stairs and the walk to the beach requires crossing a 4 lane road with no crosswalk. This was not an issue for us, traffic was light. Could be more of an issue during the summer months.

Great visit to Edisto

We enjoyed our quick visit to Edisto, especially the location of this unit. We could easily walk to several restaurants, the Food Lion and the beach. The screen door was still rusted to the point it would not work(noted in previous review) but we were able to open all the sliding glass doors just no way to prevent bugs from getting in/ can’t leave the door open. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and everything needed to cook. The rocking chairs and outdoor area was great- we liked the secluded feel with the trees. Overall, we had a good visit and enjoyed our time here.

We had a great time

We had a good time, but was surprised there were no supplies in the house. One garbage bag, one roll of paper towels, no beach towels. All other places we've stayed had a lot of these items.

Great location

This unit had a great location and we enjoyed our week. 5he paint needs a bit of attention, however we are also property owners and know that tenants are hard on rental properties.

NO VIEW but trees on balcony. Cannot closed the screen in Living Room to let the breeze in becaus...

Master Bdrm screen completely rusted shut. Bugs because no screens. I did love that it is totally supplied with everything you need to cook and the beachy Decorating was nice.

Hurricane Haven

We arrived under threat of a hurricane, which luckily for us landed farther north; but it brought two nights and a day of driving rain. Managers gave an honest assessment of flood potential and volunteered to take care of our car, which turned out unnecessary. The condo itself was compact and well-designed every room had a window. Porch with rocking chairs is a plus. Some minor maintenance issues included broken blind cords and a dishwasher that had not been properly reinstalled. But everything else was fine and comfortable for a week's getaway in a family-oriented beach town with limited facilities,

Family Beach Week

A wonderful place with an absolutely GEAT LOCATION. A great condo with upgraded counter tops (we stayed in it in 2021). Very clean and well maintained. We had 5 adults, an 8 and a 4 year old and had plenty of room. The rocking chairs on the deck are calling for you to come nap in the shade and the breeze in the afternoon. We had a golf car to transport "stuff" to the beach and Food Lion but walked to The Waterfront Restaurant and The Sea Cow. Most of us walked down Mary St to and from the beach each day. We're already planning for next year.

Family Beach Retreat

Our family of four enjoyed our time on Edisto at Retreat 7a. Short walk to the beach, pool on site and well stocked condo was perfect for us! The girls loved the mermaid room! Thanks for a great time away!

Comfortable and convenient

Great place for me and my children to stay 5 days. They loved it and said it was their favorite place weve ever stayed. Enjoyed the pool and a very quick jaunt over to the beach. Thanks!

Unit needs major updates and cleaning

We were very disappointed when we first opened the door. Mattresses were sunk and needed replaced. Couches and chairs were badly stained so we had to put our towels so we would not sit on the furniture. Showers were rusted and bakeware could not be used so we ate out the entire time. We did contact Vacasa and they sent someone to try and clean but the overall condition of this unit was horrible. I usually would not do a bad review but I do not want someone else to come and pay money for the condition. Would not stay or recommend to ever stay here again.

Great location and stay!!

This is the perfect location for a trip to Edisto. The condos are a very short walk across the street to the beach. There is a nice pool on the property. Everything in the condo was nice - my only complaint is that the clocks were all wrong due to the time change, some of the kitchen dishware was dirty, and a few lights were out. The condo was very spacious. Great walking distance to restaurants and shops on the island.

Excellent Condo on Edisto

Gated property, great parking underneath with plenty of other spaces in parking lot, very comfortable living space with open floor plan. Porch offers a sunrise view with ample rocking chairs and Adirondacks for coffee on the porch. Quiet setting, walk to restaurants and grocery store.

Nice Unit!

Super Vacation Location

Trade your car for a golf car and that’s all you need. Walk or take the golf car to the grocery store, restaurants and the beach in minutes. Great porch with plenty of chairs for rocking, reading and napping in the sea breeze. We’ll maintained, the condo looks just like the pictures.

Quiet Beach Getaway

The Retreat was conveniently located to the beach, restaurants and stores. We could walk to all of the above. We enjoyed our stay and the condo had plenty of room to relax, eat meals and enjoy each others company.

Christmas on Edisito Island - perfect

Very clean, well equipped with a beachy theme. Loved the flamingo dishes! Everything was great. Quick walk to the beach and beach access. All good.
