Parrott’s Landing: Cozy and Spacious Home by the Sea

Parrott’s Landing is a beautiful newly remodeled two-story home, located within walking distance of the beach. It comes complete with beautiful deer that often roam the property and a homey, comfortable house suitable for large families or groups of up to 14. The house has a large, well equipped kitchen and some great restaurants nearby. With five bedrooms and a large recreation area, which has four additional beds, your group should rest well! Children and adults will be entertained upstairs in the recreational room complete with a pool table, foosball, books, toys, exercise equipment, snack area, and large TV. You and your family and/or friends will be fascinated with the beautiful bike trails, water park, golf courses, and the excellent beaches. The historical district was once the winter home for many famous and rich Americans such as Bell, Morgan, Goodyear, and Pulitzer. Much of the island is natural with trails through the forests, lake with alligators, and tropical birds. You will not want to miss a dolphin tour, putt-putt golf, and all the games in the house. Bring your bikes or rent on the island.

This house was so much more than expected. The hosts were wonderful. Response time was awesome even in having propane refilled during our stay for hot water. Close beach access. Dolphins sighting from beach. All kinds of things for kids (young and old) to do!

We absolutely loved this home! Plenty of space for our family. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was clean. The host was wonderful to work with and answered all my questions. We enjoyed being close to the beach access. I would highly recommend this place to anyone! We love Jeklly Island and this home made it the perfect vacation!

This property exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful house with a great layout. This was perfect for our family reunion as everyone had space. The kitchen was well stocked and the game room, living room and secondary sitting area were all comfortable. The location is perfect, close to the beautiful beach and all Jekyll Island has to offer. The owners are great communicators and this made the whole trip extraordinary. I highly recommend this property when staying in Jekkyl Island

Host was very welcoming and answered all our questions prior to arrival. Accomodations were perfect for our family (a space & place for everyone). The upstairs recreation area was a hit for all ages! We especially enjoyed daily deer sightings in the yard, the GA Sea Turtle Center, and Driftwood Beach. Thanks for being a wonderful host!

A great stay!

The Parrott's were wonderful hosts! They provided all necessary info quite early, so we were prepared for arrival. The house is well stocked for large families, with the bonus of having toys, puzzles, and some workout equipment. We would definitely return!

Perfect stay

There was 14 of us staying at parrots landing! We were so pleased with how our stay went! Bernice was wonderful with any questions we had! The pictures do not do this place Justice, it’s truly a steal for the price!

The home was excellent for our team to stay. The team enjoyed the extras like the game room with a pool table, large screen tv, foosball and shuffleboard along with 6 beds and 3 more downstairs and two separate family room areas. I highly recommend this home. The host Bernice was so accommodating and very responsive throughout the booking process, pre-stay and checking in with us during our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with all we needed. The location is excellent, across the street from the beach and just a short drive to the Jekyll shops. We look forward to returning again.

Great vacation spot!

Everything one might need was accessible and well-kept. The added gift of the backyard deer was great entertainment for the young and old. Location was perfect for relaxing while still being close to all activities. Loved every minute!

Beautiful large home!

The home is absolutely beautiful and very large! Pictures do not do it justice! We had an issue with the stove halfway through our stay and the stove was replaced that same day! Highly recommend this home to large families planning a get away!

Family vacay

What a great spot to vacation with family! Take note that there’s a daily fee for Jekyll island…10 day or max 100 per year. The home is fully equipped! So many beds and bathrooms…everyone has space. Close to beach access, hit the water park, all the nature spots and we never got to the days inn pool. Fun times! The home is perfectly located for walking, biking or driving to all the best activities.

We have stayed in multiple places on the island for 25 years. Parrott Landing is the best. Every member of my family, young and old enjoyed the home. The owners are wonderful and responded to anything we needed quickly, personally and kindly. Can't wait to stay there again. You will not be disappointed.

Family Vacation

We Love Jekyll! Love riding around the island and exploring in our red bugs and being able to cook family meals at “home.” Loved seeing the deer every morning and evening and even got to see a baby alligator across the street making his way back to the golf course. Already booked for next year! Thanks for sharing your home.

Very well-appointed and Clean. Really appreciated the extra large refrigerator. Young adults spent a lot of evenings with the pool table. Toddlers found lots of toys to enjoy (and adults did at least one of the jigsaw puzzles). Short, one block walk to the beach. Everyone agreed it was a great place to stay. Thanks.

Another great stay at Parrott’s Landing

This was our family’s second visit to Parrott’s landing. The house is perfect for our group of 10. The house is spacious and has everything we needed. Our teens love having the hang out rooms upstairs. We enjoyed watching the deer in the backyard and the quick walk to the beach. The owners are very responsive to any issues or questions.

I am Bernice Parrott and my husband, Richard and I are retired teachers! We love being a VRBO host almost as much we love Parrott’s Landing. We are both retired teacher, and after teaching for a combined total of 78 years, Parrott’s Landing is a dream come true for us and our family!

Jekyll Island is a beautiful place with lush vegetation, bike trails, the ocean, privacy, safety, and a very rich history! Because it is a Georgia Park, it is well kept with many extras for your enjoyment!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The historical district is one of my favorite unique features. It is where the rich and famous people spent their winters in their beautiful homes between the 1880’s and 1950’s. Many of the homes are open for tours. Alexander Graham Bell made the very first long distance phone call from here, and the Federal Reserve was created! A book you may want to read is Splendid Isolation, which describes life among the rich and famous, but current residents know that we too are living a wonderful life among Jekyll’s splendid oaks and with the wonderful people like you who visit often. There are festivals, dolphin tours, a turtle center, great restaurants on the island and nearby, golfing, and many interesting events planned throughout the year. Our guests love it here!
