The place was clean and ready when we arrived. If you are American be prepared for the stove and countertop to operate by French rules- totally fine. Also, the only en-suite bedroom is the one on the first level. I wasn't sure about that until we got there. You'll have to leave the bedroom to access the bathrooms. There are no tvs in the bedrooms, which is relaxing. The pool is about five doors down from the apartment. This is on the 2nd level, be prepared to walk up the stairs. Locking the door was a bit tricky, but it works fine. This is a place for relaxing and the beach. We traveled daily to the Dutch side of the island for partying and entertainment. It was only about a 23-25 minute drive.
