El condominio es hermoso, espacioso, acogedor, muy soleado con vista al mar, orientación sur. Ubicado en el océano en Surfside, Miami Beach, en Collins Avenue. A tres cuadras de tiendas, restaurantes, supermercados, galerías, cafeterías y el centro comercial Bal Harbour. A poca distancia de la sinagoga. La emoción y la vida nocturna de South Beach están a unos 15 minutos en coche. Fácil acceso a los aeropuertos internacionales de Miami y Fort Lauderdale. Sendero para trotar, caminar y andar en bicicleta en la playa.

Property was pretty much as listed. The building is somewhat old, although the apartment was modern, bright and clean. It did look just like the photos. There is extensive exterior renovations going on with significant construction noise during the day. Since we were out most of the day this was not an issue. Building was a very short walk to beach. Apartment had balcony/lanai with view of ocean. It was not a direct view (facing south), but nice view nonetheless. Parking in building was very convenient. Security was good. Grocery store was nearby. Overall, a good experience

DO NOT STAY HERE!

I had a horrible experience! If I can give them no stars I would! At first we didn’t get the apartment that I paid for. We thought we are supposed to get the apartment that we saw in the pictures. The balcony was closed off when we read that we were going to have a balcony looking to the ocean. We didn’t know they are under construction. They lied! When we complained and finally we got the apartment we saw in the pictures. Also the cleaning lady came too late to clean the apartment. I ended up getting the apartment at 11 pm when I have been there waiting since like 3 pm. The cleaning lady didn’t even clean the apartment. I had to go out and get supplies to clean the apartment. The vacuum was broke so we know she didn’t even vacuum the carpet. It was so dirty! The mirrors and glass tables were dirty. Up and under the tables. Also the tv had no cable! Never again!

Spacious Condo on the Beach

Pictures don’t lie. What we saw in the VRBO pics was what we experienced. A clean well kept condo with a large kitchen, walk-in closet and spacious living room. The owners were very responsive to our needs. The balcony and pool area was closed due to painting; the owners allowed us to come a day early, at no charge, and arrange for us to use the beautiful community pools, only a block away. Parking was easy and the laundry on our floor was helpful. The Carlisle is located a short walk to the Publix grocery store and restaurants of Surfside. Easy access to the beach and the Miami Beach boardwalk. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return.

Carlisle condo unit;very nice,spacious;large rooms;sunny,terrace is not nice to sit on;good location

Stayed December 2-December 15, 2018 PROS: Unit rooms are bright, sunny, and clean Large rooms nicely decorated Unit well stocked with linens and towels Kitchen pantry had basic essentials: dishes, glasses, can opener, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, oven Quiet Unit; no noise from neighbors in building Excellent location of condo, close to shopping and to Publix Market Owners were responsive to our complaint upon our arrival that terrace to unit would not open and fell off its track and that lock was broken. Owners arranged for repair service to fix terrace door and replace broken lock within 2 days of arrival. CONS: 1. Unit on floor 5 has a terrace with side view of ocean. The terrace overlooks several smaller buildings with very unappealing looking roofs. Although one can see the ocean from a far distance, you will also be visually impacted by ugly view of the adjacent roofs to this unit. Owners misrepresented the photo of the terrace to the condo we occupied;the photo represented on VRBO is actually the photo of another condo unit owned by same owners.Owner represented to us that both units are exactly identical to each other. However, they failed to disclose that while the terrace to the unit photographed on VRBO is one unit away from back of building(closest to ocean view), the unit we rented was much further away from the ocean and closer to Collins Avenue, a heavy traffic street which is noisy from terrace. If terrace is unimportant to you, this is a very nice apartment. If you think about enjoying breakfast & coffee on your terrace on a beautiful day, you will be disappointed, as we were. 2. Building is undergoing major exterior renovations to terraces and to building exterior for extended period of time. Pool was closed during our stay due to exterior renovations. Renters should be aware of loud noise from renovations which begin shortly after 8:00am. It is unfortunate that owners were unaware that pool was closed in Dec 2018 due to renovations. 3. If planning to rent in the Carlyle, you must determine whether exterior renovations will affect the unit you are renting. 4. We were informed that Four Season Hotel nearby has purchased all the buildings between it and the Carlyle and will be expanding the hotel shortly. You should inquire how this major hotel expansion will affect your stay at the Carlyle for the next several seasons. We anticipate that there will be extensive noise of new construction over the next several years.

A quiet, roomy, clean condo on the beach at a reasonable price.

Enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was quiet and uncrowded at the beach. The condo was larger than we imagined and very clean. The interior of the building was very clean as well. The building staff was very helpful when we arrived. The owner of the condo was very responsive with questions that we had. We plan on returning there soon.

Alles perfekt

Du fühlst dich gleich nach der Ankunft wie in deinem zu Hause. Es ist alles vorhanden, was du brauchst. Ein großes Wohnzimmer. Die Spiegelwand lässt den Raum noch größer erscheinen. Eine voll eingerichtete Küche mit Spülmaschine, Kochherd und allen notwendigen Utensilien ist vorhanden. Wenn du willst, kannst du sogar deinen Einkauf mit einem Einkaufswagen direkt in die Küche bringen. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und sehr angenehm eingerichtet. Die Lage ist perfekt. Viele Geschäfte sind schnell erreichbar. Auch zu Fuß. Es ist sehr ruhig. Du genießt einen sehr schönen Anblick auf das Meer abends bei einem Glas Wein auf deinem Balkon. Und am nächsten Tag bist du nach wenigen Schritten direkt am Meer und Strand. Jederzeit kannst du aber auch den Pool benutzen. Das Personal hält alles gut in Stand und ist immer hilfsbereit. Deinen Vermieter, Chantal oder Gerard, kannst du jederzeit erreichen, wenn du Fragen oder Probleme hast. Er ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Für Deutsche, die immer erst eine Bedienungsanleitung lesen wollen, wäre eine Anleitung am Schlüsselbrett vielleicht sinnvoll. Erfahrene Urlauber von Ferienwohnungen haben jedoch den Verwendungszweck aller Schlüssel und Einrichtungen schnell raus. Und ansonsten immer Fragen. Schon jetzt weiß ich genau, dass ich wieder kommen möchte. Dann freue ich mich schon darauf, das Garagentor mit der Fernbedienung zu öffnen um meinen Mietwagen in der hauseigenen Garage zu parken. Ganz liebe Grüße an Chantal, Gerard aber auch an Dana (die wir sehr kurz kennenlernen durften ;-) ... ) .... Matthias und Monique

Beautiful Condo and Amazing Location!

This is the third time we are coming for two weeks to this condo. The condo is very clean, bright and cosy. We love sitting on the balcony facing the ocean. In fact, we can see the ocean wherever we sit in the condo with all the mirrors reflecting the ocean. The condo has everything we need from dishes to bathroom products. The location is amazing and super safe. Restaurants, supermarket and shopping mall are all walking distance from the building. The owners are very nice and very pleasant to deal with. They are always attentive to our needs and very accommodating. A very nice place that we definitely recommend!

Beautiful Ocean Views From This Spacious Condo

My wife and I rented this Surfside, FL unit in The Carlisle by the Sea for six weeks from mid- January through February, 2017. Our stay was delightful, and we plan to return again. The location is excellent, situated between Bal Harbor and North Miami Beach. The area is very safe. The unit is within walking distance to Surfside Village, with it's many shops, restaurants, and a Publix grocery store. The very fashionable Shops at Bal Harbor are also a short walk from the Carlisle, where one can browse selections at Saks Fifth Avenue, Tiffanys, Nieman Marcus, and other high end retailers. The Carlisle building is direct ocean front with access to a wonderful path for walking and bicycling along the shore. Internationally famous South Beach is short drive by car or public bus. The unit is very spacious, attractively decorated and furnished, fully equipped with all appliances, cookware/dinnerware, and with beautiful ocean views to the east and to the south from the living areas and the balcony. The owners are very conscientious in maintaining their property to the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality. My wife and I arrive by car, and appreciate having secure parking on the premises just steps from the elevators, making it easy to transport luggage and groceries. The staff is friendly and helpful. We love it here and would recommend this unit to anyone.

The condo is exactly like the pictures.

My wife and I visited in April 2017 The carlyle on the Ocean, great location. Description accurate on the Website.Magnificent ocean view. The condo is well decorated, clean, has everything you need. Located within walking distance to supermarket, pharmacy and good restaurants. Our family have been renting this condo for the last 5 years. The master bedroom has a brand new queen bed and 2 large TV screen. The owner is always available to answers any questions, good service. We would recommend this condo to friends and families. It was a great vacation. Will go back again for sure.

Wonderful!

The listing description and pictures were not accurate - it is so much better! The pictures of the unit show that it is very nice but they do not do the unit justice! It really is a very nice, BIG, spotless apartment. The building is wonderful, there is security cameras everywhere and the doorman watches 24/7. We were so pleased with everything about this apartment. Location was wonderful! Pool, ocean and everything you would need is in this unit!! If you are looking for a rowdy trashy building then do not rent here! This is a very nice (SAFE) building with mostly families but if you wish to get loud in South Beach it is a short ride away!! The owners of this unit were wonderful, patient and kind (we changed dates 3 times). I would highly recommend this rental - it was wonderful!! Thank you Chantel and Gerald and I will rent again! :)
