Holiday apartment in a historic water mill

The holiday apartment is located in a house built in 1724, renovated in 2008, and is rustically furnished. The domicile is also popular because of its quiet and sunny location at the edge of the forest and by the water. Available for shared use are: sunbathing lawn, sun lounger, children's playground, swing, sandbox, garden shower, barbecue facilities, terrace, garden furniture, campfire site, and courtyard. Please note: Please bring bed linen and towels or order them when booking.


Location
Gollmitz. The holiday apartment is located on a 2000 sqm waterfront property with a meadow, flowers, shrubs, and trees. The landlord lives in a separate building on the property. The half-timbered house is a listed, fully operational water mill. There are a total of 5 holiday apartments: BRA UCK 001, BRA UCK 002, BRA UCK 003 (each for 3 people), BRA UCK 004 (for 2 people), BRA UCK 005 (for 12 people). The apartments have been ecologically renovated with clay walls and hemp insulation. The mill room serves as both a museum and a communal room for celebrations of up to 50 people. Use of the communal room is chargeable and must always be requested and agreed upon in advance. Additionally, there is a communal room for 24 people with a fireplace and television. With a diameter of six metres, the water wheel is the largest in Northern Germany. Mill days with events/concerts in the summer. Since autumn 2015, a garden sauna with a hot tub has been available. The stream also provides a way to cool off. The property is enclosed by a fence and the stream. A suspension bridge leads you to the bivouac site. The house is located directly by the stream. Parking (for 6 cars) is available on the property and on the street in front of the house.

Natural cycling and hiking trails in the vicinity, kilometre-long canoe trips are possible from the property. High ropes course, adventure or canoe tours in the area. In summer: Lake Naugarten (beach 4 km in Naugarten with meadow and sand). Diving in Feldberg 20 km. Naugarten: fishing 20 m and horse riding 3 km. Tennis, water sports facilities, boat rental each 10 km in Prenzlau.
